La Ferme Maury (Les vins de l’Acadie) is located near the Irving Eco-Centre, La Dune de Bouctouche and Le Pays de la Sagouine. It's the first co-operative cottage winery in New Brunswick, starting marketing its first wines in 2000.
Activities:
A walk through the vineyard provides a spectacular view of the Northumberland Strait, where visitors can take advantage of sandy beaches. Campers are offered a free sample of the farm’s wines. Guided tours are available upon request.
Products:
- Cuvée St-Édouard: Dry red wine made from grapes from the vineyard.
- Vin de la Baie: This semi-dry wine made from elderberries is the farm’s specialty. Its colour and fruity taste are reminiscent of rosé wines. Served chilled, it is an excellent aperitif.
- Cœur d’Acadie: Dry blueberry wine that can be served chilled as an aperitif or to enhance a meal (shellfish).
- Vin de la Dune: Sweet strawberry wine to be enjoyed as an aperitif or with dessert (chocolate); serve chilled.
Visitors can discover a number of liqueurs and spirits as well.
