Grand Manan Visitor Information Center

Grand Manan's Visitor Information Center is centrally located and here to help any visitors while they are touring the island. Its welcoming staff has plenty of information on activities, events, things to do, places to eat and more. Come by and have a complimentary taste of dulse or salt water taffy while you retrieve your day plan! The building is wheelchair-accessible and has public washrooms.

Boiestown/Upper Miramichi

Turtle Creek No. 4 Covered Bridge (Peter Jonah)

Built in 1912, this covered bridge is located at the Turtle Creek Reservoir, near Moncton. No longer in commission, the bridge was moved to its current location as a display piece in 2013. It is one of the two remaining bridges in the province with a hip, or cottage, roof.

Magnetic Hill (Parkindale) Covered Bridge

Originally constructed as Parkindale Covered Bridge in 1916 (Coverdale River #7, in Albert County), this 17.5 m (57.5 ft.) long structure was relocated to Magnetic Hill and rebuilt in 1982. Driving directions: Route 2, Exit 450, to Route 126 North, (Mountain Road) to Magnetic Hill Theme Park.

Long Creek No. 1 Covered Bridge (Starkey)

Built in 1912, this covered bridge is 41.5 m (136 ft.) in length. This bridge is closed but can be viewed from the end of Starkey Road, near Route 710.

Hammond River No. 3 Covered Bridge (Smithtown)

Built in 1914, this covered bridge is 56 m (183 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 1, Exit 158, Route 100 west for 2.7 km (1.6 mi.), Lakeside Road for 4.7 km (2.9 mi.), Route 860 east for one km (0.6 mi.), on to Damascus Road.

Set on the banks of the Restigouche River with the Appalachian Mountains forming a majestic backdrop, the centre has no shortage of amazing landscapes!

Mink Brook Cottage

Cozy 2 bedroom cottage with stunning ocean views as well as kilometeres of private beach access. Sleeps a maximum of 8 if including couch and futon in the living area. 5 minutes from popular New River Beach, numerous restaurants and take-outs. 30 minutes to the City of Saint John 45 minutes to picturesque Saint Andrews by the Sea

Legacy Lane Fiber Mill Yarn and Gift Shop

Legacy Lane Fiber Mill, the only processing facility of its kind in New Brunswick, is a custom fiber processing mill in Sussex, NB. Manufacturing yarn, insoles, dryer balls and many knitted and woven goods, Legacy Lane specializes in alpaca fiber processing. Visit their Yarn and Gift Shop on Main Street in Sussex, where you will find their products and beautiful textile art items.

This cottage is located within walking distance of the Alma wharf and the many wonderful restaurants and shops in town. Fundy National Park is only minutes away by car where you can hike, fish, swim, kayak, snowshoe, cross-country ski, and golf. ATV and snowmobile trails are also close by.

New Brunswick Aviation Museum

The New Brunswick Aviation Museum is home to the largest collection of RCAF Golden Hawks memorabilia in Canada. The legendary aerobatic team was formed at RCAF Station Chatham, New Brunswick in 1959 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of powered flight in Canada and the 35th anniversary of the RCAF. The team remained in Chatham until the Fall of 1962 when they moved to RCAF Station Trenton, Ontario. They remained there until February 1964 when budget cuts in the RCAF led to their disbandment.
