Restigouche Farmers' Market

The Restigouche Farmers Market is a regional community farmers market located in the town of Dalhousie. The market fosters community health and local economic development by providing patrons with healthy, locally produced, environmentally friendly food. Bring your family along to enjoy the unique creations of our artisans, sample locally grown food, or simply relax and enjoy the day! The market is an ideal venue for meetings, banquets, functions and other cultural and social events. The market operates year round on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Restigouche Gallery

The region's largest art gallery, also a cultural centre, offers a wide range of regional and national exhibits, workshops, art classes, special events including a fine craft show, and more. Its permanent display, on the Athol House site, tells the exciting story of the Mi'gmaq, French, Acadian and Scottish heritage of the Restigouche region. Two boutiques showcase unique items fashioned by regional and New Brunswick artisans.

Resurgo Place

Resurgo Place is a state-of-the-art facility where Moncton heritage, technology and discovery intersect, offering visitors a unique and interactive experience. Resurgo Place houses the Moncton Museum, the Transportation Discovery Centre, the Moncton Visitor Information Centre, as well as travelling exhibits galleries, an education centre, research centre and a gift shop.

Richibucto River Wine Estate

A visit to Richibucto River Wine Estate brings visitors face-to-face with one of New Brunswick's most breathtaking vineyard vistas. The visual impact of 8 ha (20 acres) of vineyards growing along the banks of the regal Richibucto River is a treat for the senses. A daily tour, tastings and a chance to select souvenirs commemorating your visit adds to the rich sensory experience. Established in 2005, Richibucto River Wine Estate is owned and operated by founder Alan Hudson and his family.

Roy Heritage Home

Historic boomtown-style house from the early colonization period and the beginnings of the Parish of Saint-Quentin. It has served a number of purposes: general store, Caisse Populaire, provincial court, professional photography centre, Canada Employment centre, and much more. It was restored in keeping with its original structure and now houses a museum reflecting the community's early days.

Royal View Maples

We produce the finest 100% pure maple syrup and delicious 100% pure maple products. Maple operation is located 30 m (100 ft.) from paved road on Royalton Road, west of Florenceville-Bristol. Products available: maple syrup (in a wide variety of containers), maple butter, candy and sugar, sold year-round.

Saint Croix Island

INTERNATIONAL HISTORIC SITE In 1604, Pierre Dugua (sieur de Mons) chose Saint Croix Island for settlement, an event that symbolizes the founding of 'Acadie.' Because of the island's isolation and the unusually harsh winter, nearly half of the colonists succumbed to scurvy. The following year, de Mons relocated his colony across the Bay of Fundy to Port Royal in Nova Scotia.

Saint John Police Museum

This museum is dedicated to sharing and teaching the history of policing in Saint John. Say hi to our constable dressed in 1849 uniform and do a selfie or a family portrait behind a jail cell door. View the 1965 Volkswagen police car restored in 1999 to celebrate our 150-year anniversary. Interact with volunteers, retired, and former police officers and hear their stories about the good old days. Welcome one and all.

Saint-Isidore Museum

Nestled in the village of Saint-Isidore in the open country lands of the Acadian Peninsula, this museum was founded in 1980 in a former general store built in 1910. Visitors go through a timeline depicting the colonial and agricultural history of northeastern New Brunswick from the 1800s, using Saint-Isidore's historical land settlement by farmers as an example. The nearby baroque church, designated Provincial Heritage Place, is considered one of the Maritimes' most beautiful churches.

Sainte-Anne-de-Beaumont Chapel

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE Situated on the bank of the Petitcodiac River, this small chapel served the Aboriginal and Acadian people of Beaumont Cape, beginning in 1842. Musical entertainment on Monday nights during July and August.

School Days Museum

This museum contains a vast collection of artifacts, archival material, books and furniture used in the public schools, teacher training, and the New Brunswick Department of Education, dating as far back as the mid-19th century. Enter the Annex side door to the right of building (next to the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design) to visit the museum.

Shediac Old Train Station Museum

Visit Shediac’s Old Train Station to learn about the area’s railroad and transportation history. Various artefacts and photos showing technological advancements as well as other significant moments in Shediac’s railway system are on exhibit at the museum.

Snow Bears Cross Country Ski Club

The Snow Bears Cross Country Ski Club is proud to provide top quality ski trails. 15 km (9 mi.) of freshly groomed trails are ready for either classic or freestyle techniques. Difficulty ranges from beginner to expert. 5.5-m (18-ft.) wide double-track trails with skate skiing in the middle lane.Ski trails are accessible from the Nepisiguit River Company, where washrooms and a changing room facility are available to trail users during opening hours.The Snow Bears Cross Country Ski Club encourages you to make the most of our winter. Struts Gallery and Faucet Media Arts Centre

Struts Gallery and Faucet Media Arts Centre is an artist-run centre featuring contemporary exhibits of local and national origin, as well as a diverse program of performances and other cultural events. The gallery's Artist-in-Residence program brings artists from across Canada to produce exhibits inspired by the culture and landscape of the region. All-ages concerts, multi-media workshops and opening events are held year round.

Sucrerie Chiasson

Sucrerie Chiasson offers a selection of maple products like maple butter, maple sugar, caramel and delicious first quality maple syrup. Its two locations (244 Des Érables St. and 1873 Bellechasse St.) can accommodate nearly 250 people for a popular brunch that satisfies all appetites – you can have as much syrup as you want at no extra charge. Call ahead or check their Facebook page to verify which location offers brunch. Try the "licherie", a decadent tasting of exquisite warm maple syrup and maple taffy on ice.

Sainte-Marie Sugar Bush

The Sugar Bush – La Causerie is nestled in the woods on a 51-ha (125-acre) property, surrounded by Maple trees. The trees are tapped annually in early spring, perfect for making the popular sweet and tasty maple syrup treats. Taffy-on-the-snow is offered weekends in our outdoor area, and a breakfast buffet is offered from March to early May. The sugar bush is a popular destination for 4-wheelers throughout the year and for snowmobile enthusiasts during the winter.

Sugarloaf Provincial Park Ski Hill

Visit Sugarloaf Provincial Park for your next skiing adventure! You will find 13 Alpine ski trails ranging from beginner to expert, one quadruple chairlift, 2 T-bars and one pony lift. The ski slope has a vertical drop of 155 m (507 ft.) with the longest run at 1,070 m (3,510 ft.). The hill also includes a terrain park with exciting features, great for all the freeride enthusiasts. A ski school with certified instructors for alpine skiing and snowboarding is open for your convenience, with safety provided by the Canadian Ski Patrol. Helmets are mandatory at Sugarloaf.
