Ponderosa Pines Cottage

Private, leisurely accommodations in a natural setting surrounded by birch, pine and spruce trees overlooking a lake and the Bay of Fundy. The cottage is located only 1 km (0.6 mi.) from the Hopewell Rocks, and an easy drive from Fundy National Park, Village of Alma, Cape Enrage and the City of Moncton. Your adventures for kayaking, beaches, birdwatching, zip lining, rappelling and local seafood are just a scenic drive away. Swallowtail Lightstation

As you approach Grand Manan Island by ferry, Swallowtail Lightstation greets you. The wonderful panoramic view of the coastline coupled with this historic, old wooden lighthouse makes it a perfect setting for photographers, artists and sightseers. This is a definite "must-see"!

Beauséjour Camping

Up the hill from the beach with some of the warmest waters north of the Carolinas sits Beausejour Camping, a pearl of a family campground in the southeast of New Brunswick. Large, spacious campsites with green and wooded areas, the Beausejour offers a diversity of services such as a heated swimming pool, wireless Internet, a games room, laundry room and a large playground as well as a great activity calendar.

Deer Island - Campobello Island Ferry

Privately operated, toll ferries run between Deer Island and Campobello Island. Sail beautiful Passamaquoddy Bay, a unique corner of the Bay of Fundy. Join us for a day trip around the Quoddy Loop. Our service is the link that makes the loop complete. "The Old Sow," the largest tidal whirlpool in North America, can be seen from Deer Island Point Park, near our ferry landing. After Labour Day our schedule depends on weather and traffic volume. You might want to call ahead if travelling during this period.

Saint-Louis de Kent (Beaurivage)

Saint-Louis de Kent, Kouchibouguac National Park's neighbour, is the cradle of the Acadian flag. From mid-May to mid-October, the village's giant Acadian flag floats proudly in the sky. Experience a typical New Brunswick Acadian village that is in tune with nature and with people.

Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve

Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve is located in the city of Saint John, on the border with the neighbouring town of Grand Bay-Westfield. Conserved by the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, this nature preserve is one of the last undeveloped properties in the area and supports a variety of ecosystems. Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve features 2 km (1.2 mi) of looping trail systems for visitors to explore. The trail leads you across Henderson Brook on a walking bridge where you can stop and take in views of the wetland. There are two trails: Stevens Loop Trail and Hamm Loop Trail.

Edmundston Visitor Information Centre

Located in an old CP railway station built in 1930, the building was completely renovated in 2005. The centre is located next to a cycling trail connecting the city of Edmundston, New Brunswick, to Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec and near the popular pedestrian bridge that crosses the Madawaska River, leading to the downtown area. The centre also offers a souvenir shop, picnic tables, a playground and a dog park nearby.

Westfield Beach

Unsupervised freshwater swimming beach with parking, a picnic area and a floating dock attached to the old wharf during the summer.

Mulholland Point Lighthouse

This is the only lighthouse shared by Canada and the United States. The Mulholland Point Lighthouse was built in 1885. The original octagonal, wooden structure is located within Roosevelt Campobello International Park and is well maintained. You can enjoy a picnic at this spot with a view toward the F. D. R. International Bridge that connects Campobello Island to Lubec, Maine. Driving directions: Route 1, Exit 56 at St. George, NB, onto Route 172 to Letete, take the toll-free ferry to Deer Island (ferry interruption: 1-888-747-7006).

Florenceville-Bristol Visitor Information Centre

The Visitor Information Centre in Florenceville-Bristol, the French Fry Capital of the World, offers information about events, attractions and festivals. The centre is located at the Potato Museum, where you can learn the story of New Brunswick potatoes and enjoy a restaurant featuring potato-based foods. Centre open 9am - 5pm, Monday-Friday in June and Thanksgiving weekend 7 days a week in July-August. Restaurant open Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
