National Indigenous Peoples Day

Held on the summer solstice, a date significant to many Indigenous communities, National Indigenous Peoples Day is a time to reflect on the enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples. On June 21, let’s come together to honour the rich heritage, history, and vibrant traditions of the Mi’kmaq culture, celebrating its living and evolving presence in our society. It's a day of unity, learning, and deep respect for the First Peoples of this land.
