Part of the Lower St. John River Passage, Brundage Point River Centre is a wheelchair-accessible waterside gathering place in the town of Grand Bay-Westfield that offers many convenient and free resources. The Centre hosts a weekly Friday market featuring barbecues, crafts, and local farm-fresh produce and food. It is available for community and private functions for parties, meetings, etc., with excellent kitchen facilities as well as free Wi-Fi. Outdoor movie nights are also offered each Friday of the summer from a selection of popular family-friendly movies. Local musicians take on Summer Stage on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. at nearby Unity Park. Take advantage of the boat, canoe and kayak launching, 4 overnight boat moorings, and a spacious dock. Watch your children play in the playground structures while relaxing in the shade and enjoying the breathtaking view through “Rivergate,” a carved masterpiece created by world-renowned sculptor Radoslav Sultov.
