Rockwood Park Campground

Off Route 1 from exit 25 or 129, just 2 km (1.2 mi.) from Uptown Saint John and even closer to a major grocery store, Rockwood Park Campground has easy access to any supplies and services you may need.

The campground has a total of 189 sites, including fully serviced (water, electric and sewer) and partially serviced (water and electric) sites, tent sites (including group tenting sites), rustic cabins and seasonal sites (for inquiries on seasonal sites please email us directly at sjhort@nb.aibn.com). The campground offers many amenities, including hot showers and restrooms, 2 laundry rooms and Internet.

It is a short walk to Lily Lake Pavilion, which has supervised swimming, boat and bike rentals, and delicious meals at Lily's Lakeside Restaurant.

Best of all, at 890 hectares (2200 acres), Rockwood is one of Canada's largest municipal parks with well marked hiking and biking trails and nine lakes to explore. From the Kiwanis Playground to the Bark Park, to the mountain biking training centre and 18-hole golf course, there is fun for all the family. You could spend your entire summer in the park and still not see it all.
