St. John River Valley Trail (Woodstock to Edmundston)

Part of Sentier NB Trails, this multi-use trail, built on an abandoned Canadian Pacific rail line, is perfect for any type of user. Its gentle grades and multiple access points allow you to tailor a hike to suit your personal needs, from a short walk to a multi-day trek on foot or bicycle. The majestic Saint John River provides a stunning backdrop as the trail winds along its gentle banks, passing through rural communities and picturesque landscapes. Bring your camera, your bicycle or your walking shoes and experience rural New Brunswick at its best!Walking, hiking, biking. Portions of the trail are also used for snowmobiling and horseback riding.
