This award-winning facility offers the opportunity to experience wetlands by participating in innovative educational programs or exploring the site's 1.5 km (1 mi.) of trails. The centre was established in 1998 to promote wetland conservation through education. The 15-hectare (37-acre) site provides quality habitat for an amazing diversity of life and functions as an outdoor classroom for the local schools.
