While here, stop for a visit at the Salmonid Enhancement Centre, a fish hatchery where you will find out how baby salmon are hatched and released into rivers for the preservation of the species. In winter Charlo is known for its cross-country ski club with groomed trails available for beginners and competitive skiers alike, and on the riverside, a fully equipped cottage can be rented for group events, or accommodation.
