Bill Johnstone Memorial Park

This recently revamped park, located in the heart of Sackville, includes a splash pad, playground, tennis courts, basketball court, bandstand, activity centre, artistic fountain, and public washrooms. The park is also home to the Sackville Farmers Market, music concerts, movies in the park, and many more events throughout the year. The activity centre is available for rent. A lovely spot for families near our stores and restaurants.

Blackie's Farm Market

What started as a backyard pastime has now become Blackie's Veggies, a 5-ha (12-acre) farm producing top quality vegetables. "We grow everything we sell"; say farm owners James and Cecile Blackie. Every vegetable at the stand is grown on the farm and hand-picked on a daily basis by the farmers themselves, ensuring freshness and best quality. Come and try some of "Blackie's Awesome Corn". Follow the signs at the end of the road as you drive up the long farm driveway to the best vegetables Carleton County has to offer.

Blacks Harbour - Grand Manan Ferry

Passengers can watch fishing boats at work or just relax and watch the beautiful blue Fundy waters. The Bay of Fundy is home to the summer migration routes of the Humpback, Minke, Finback, and the extremely rare Right whales. Whales and porpoises are regularly seen from the deck of our ferries. Bloomfield Creek Covered Bridge

Built in 1917, this covered bridge is 45 m (146 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 1, Exit 166, turn northwest on Bloomfield Ridge South Road, turn right on Centennial Road, turn left on Bloomfield Station Road.

Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve

A beautiful walking bridge and trail systems to enjoy.Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve is located in the city of Saint John, on the border with the neighbouring town of Grand Bay-Westfield. Conserved by the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, this nature preserve is one of the last undeveloped properties in the area and supports a variety of ecosystems. Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve features 2 km (1.2 mi) of looping trail systems for visitors to explore. The trail leads you across Henderson Brook on a walking bridge where you can stop and take in views of the wetland.

Bouctouche Trails

Trails are a great way to explore Bouctouche's rich and diverse coastal environment and lively Acadian community. A 10-km (6-mi.) hiking, cycling and walking trail connects the great sand dune of Irving Eco-Centre, La Dune de Bouctouche and the enchanting entertainment of Le Pays de la Sagouine. Part of the Sentier NB Trail system, the trail is managed by the town of Bouctouche and Sentier NB Trail.The Inner Bay trail is a beautiful 4-km (2.5-mi.) trail that takes you through a wooded area, across a footbridge and winds through the town of Bouctouche.

Established in 1857, Briggs and Little Woolen Mills Ltd. is currently the oldest woolen mill in Canada. It has been rebuilt four times due to fire, yet still after more than 165 years, stands as a testament to quality and tradition.
