Nigadoo is a picturesque village located between Beresford and Petit-Rocher, just 9 km (5.6 mi.) from Bathurst. Long before the Acadians arrived in the region, the Mi'gmaq had discovered the natural shelter offered by the banks of the river and had named the place Nigadoo, meaning hiding place or refuge, in their native language. The village was incorporated in 1967 and is now home to over 1,000 inhabitants. It is both a residential and vacation community where life is good.

A beautiful walking bridge and trail systems to enjoy.Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve is located in the city of Saint John, on the border with the neighbouring town of Grand Bay-Westfield. Conserved by the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, this nature preserve is one of the last undeveloped properties in the area and supports a variety of ecosystems. Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve features 2 km (1.2 mi) of looping trail systems for visitors to explore. The trail leads you across Henderson Brook on a walking bridge where you can stop and take in views of the wetland.

Once a shipbuilding centre, this gateway to the Fundy Trail Provincial Park is famous for its red cliffs, echo caves and birdwatching activities. This is a lovely seaside community whose daily rhythms are guided by the rising and falling of the World's Highest Tides. At high water, the colourful fishing boats bob in the water in the village harbour. Once the tide recedes, those same boats sit in the mud on the ocean floor! The harbour is tremendously photogenic. It's encircled by two covered bridges, a lighthouse and public gardens.
