Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve

Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve is located in the city of Saint John, on the border with the neighbouring town of Grand Bay-Westfield. Conserved by the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, this nature preserve is one of the last undeveloped properties in the area and supports a variety of ecosystems. Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve features 2 km (1.2 mi) of looping trail systems for visitors to explore. The trail leads you across Henderson Brook on a walking bridge where you can stop and take in views of the wetland. There are two trails: Stevens Loop Trail and Hamm Loop Trail.

International Appalachian Trail (Tide Head to Perth-Andover)

The International Appalachian Trail is a 3,058 km (1,900 mi.) trail running from Maine to Newfoundland. The New Brunswick portion of the trail enters New Brunswick at the border of Fort Fairfield, Maine and Perth-Andover. It tracks northeast through Mount Carleton Provincial Park and up and over the highest point in the Maritimes. The trail then leads north to Tide Head and crosses into Quebec's Gaspé Peninsula at Matapédia.
