You're within minutes to the Fundy Trail Provincial Park and can take a short drive to find the West Quaco lighthouse. An Experience of Intimacy Biking along the riverside trail, the early-morning mist is lifting. Across the river you can see the domed rotunda of the New Brunswick Legislature and the spire of Christ Church Cathedral. Pedalling up a slight grade, you give the two runners coming toward you lots of room. When they pass, they smile and say good morning. From the walking bridge that leads across the river to downtown, you see two kayaks gracefully slicing the water. Far above, an eagle soars.

Anderson Hollow Lighthouse

This original lighthouse (Est. 1889) with its wooden, salt-shaker tower is a historic landmark. Originally located on Anderson Hollow wharf at Waterside, it has been relocated four times. Presently, it's on exhibit at Shipyard Park, on Mary's Point Road, at Harvey Bank. The site is open; however, the tower is closed.Driving directions: Off Route 915, on Mary's Point Road

Saint-Quentin Visitor Information Centre

The Old Train Station Tourist Centre is a replica of the old train station of Saint-Quentin, built in 1920 and destroyed in the fall of 1983. While respecting the historic aspect of the original building, the infrastructure has modern commodities. The interior is impressive with the beauty and richness of wood finishing throughout the building. The decor and furnishings will take you back to the early 20th century. There you'll find a visitor information centre, various historical pieces, a souvenir shop, a Forestry, Agriculture and Maple Industry Interpretation Centre and a gallery.

Campobello Island Beaches (Dunn, Friar's Bay, Raccoon, Herring Cove, Mill Cove)

There are a number of unspoiled beaches on this island in the Bay of Fundy, where you can lie in the sun, explore the rocks and tidal pools, or watch the seabirds and other wildlife. It's easy to see why this island is a popular summer destination with travellers the world over! Dunn Beach is smooth and sandy. Friar's Bay has a lovely view across the water to Eastport, Maine. It's the perfect place for a leisurely stroll, or to just sit and enjoy the breathtaking view. Raccoon Beach, accessible by trail, is located within Roosevelt International Park.

Ducks Unlimited Centre

This is a place to see... to learn... to explore. It's the perfect spot for birdwatching, as well as a wonderful place to learn more about wetlands and conservation. At the centre, nestled on the north bank of the Saint John River, you can stand on the deck and marvel as you spot osprey, waterfowl, and even a Bald Eagle or two! You can also enjoy the lovely view of the city of Fredericton, directly across the river. Friendly staff, with the help of hands-on exhibits, will answer your questions. Built with donations of material and time, this centre is a true community venture.
