Richibucto River Wine Estate

A visit to Richibucto River Wine Estate brings visitors face-to-face with one of New Brunswick's most breathtaking vineyard vistas. The visual impact of 8 ha (20 acres) of vineyards growing along the banks of the regal Richibucto River is a treat for the senses. A daily tour, tastings and a chance to select souvenirs commemorating your visit adds to the rich sensory experience. Established in 2005, Richibucto River Wine Estate is owned and operated by founder Alan Hudson and his family.

Nepisiguit Centennial Museum/Cultural Centre

In 2003 the Bathurst Heritage Trust Commission Inc. acquired the Nepisiguit Centennial Library building and immediately created the Nepisiguit Centennial Museum/Cultural Centre, which houses the Heritage Museum, the Nepisiguit Genealogy/Archives. The artifacts, including photos, archives, genealogical documents, and histories of the native Aboriginal culture, represent the general life of the people of the region in the early days. There is no precise theme running through the museum, but the past comes alive for both local and other visitors.

Ocean Surf RV Park

Ideally located to explore the major attractions in Southeastern New Brunswick. We offer spacious fully serviced sites (30 or 50 amps), including pull-through sites, to accommodate the largest recreational vehicles in the industry. For your enjoyment, we have the award winning heated saltwater pool, a soccer field, volleyball court and two playgrounds. We have a floating dock to launch kayaks, boards and canoes. And the beach is just a short walk away.

Pine Needles Golf & Country Club

New Brunswick’s only 36-hole golf course, featuring two beautiful courses, the Pine and the River. Green fees available and tee times are required prior to 4 p.m. daily. Juniors are also welcome. Amenities include clubhouse, snack bar, licensed pro shop, putting green, pull carts, golf carts and club rentals. Company tournaments are welcomed with prior reservations. Hall and barbecue rentals are available.

Château Scoudouc Maple Products

Our boutique at Château Scoudouc, open year round, will make you discover our delicious syrup and more than 25 other maple products. You can go for a stroll in the sugar bush and enjoy the nature, or take a guided tour for an insider's look at the maple production process inside and outside the facilities. We also serve cheesecakes, coffees and ice cream on site and also on our terrasse. Taffy on snow is served during the maple season.

Our human-sized establishment has 4 standard rooms, 1 Prestige room and 1 family room with all the necessary comfort for a peaceful stay in the Chaleur region. All our rooms, with rustic charm, are non-smoking and include wireless internet, a private bathroom with bath products provided, air conditioning and cable / satellite television. ​ For your convenience, breakfasts and lunches are served in the restaurant, located on the main floor (service not available on closing days)

The Sentier NB Trail runs through the city and surrounding area, offering scenic views and wonderful photographic opportunities. Connecting to, or located beside the trail, are the Municipal Visitor Information Centre, restaurants, accommodation and shopping. Parking is available at several points along the trail.The walkways of Coronation, Richelieu and Harbourview parks are part of a linear park network offering walking enthusiasts a tour of downtown Bathurst. Nearby Daly Point Nature Reserve offers 6 km (4 mi.) of trails amidst a variety of flora and fauna.

Fort Beauséjour - Fort Cumberland National Historic Site

History buffs and culture lovers will enjoy touring the ruins of a star-shaped fort that was vital to the 18th-century struggle between France and Britain over Acadie. Learn poignant stories of resilient settlers, soldiers, and American sympathizers, through fascinating artifacts and exhibits. Kids can dress up like “gate guards” and patrol the fort's earthen glacis, casemates and battlegrounds. The site's wide-open spaces make for wondrous kite flying and picnics.

Charlo Salmonid Enhancement Centre

The Charlo Hatchery (CSEC) was built in 1938 and has been stocking New Brunswick rivers for over 70 years with Atlantic salmon and Brook trout. The hatching survival of salmon in the wild can be as low as 10%, however in a hatchery it is seldom less than 85%. Since 1998, 4,419,799 salmon and trout raised to various stages of development at the CSEC were stocked in the rivers of New Brunswick. The centre also undertakes projects, pilot studies and research which has touched all aspects of the fishery.

Poterie Monique Duclos Pottery

The passion and inspiration that arose in Monique Duclos from the first time she worked with clay can be seen within the walls of her charming studio.Functional and decorative stoneware pottery can be found in this lovely studio. You can watch, step-by-step, how her pottery is made. Monique has been commissioned by the Province of New Brunswick to create their official Collection with the provincial flower, the purple violet. Many other designs can be found in the little boutique in her studio.
