Beech Hill Park and Disc Golf Course

Perched on a ridge above Sackville, Beech Hill Park offers impressive views of the Tantramar Marshes. Free family-friendly 18-hole disc golf course, playground, walking trails, picnic tables, potable water and washroom facilities. The park is a great place to fly a kite, toss a Frisbee or walk your pup. During the winter, enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on groomed and track-set trails. Petit-Témis Interprovincial Linear Park

The Petit-Témis is a linear park bordering the Madawaska River and Lake Temiscouata all the way to the St. Lawrence River, offering a lovely and picturesque route along the way. Linking the cities of Edmundston, NB and Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, with over more than 130 km (81 miles) of trails, Petit-Témis is the first interprovincial cycling network in Canada. Because the trail was built on an abandoned railway line the grade is never more than 4 per cent, making it easily accessible to all. You can pause to catch your breath at one of many rest stops along the way.

Mapleton Park

This 121-ha (300-acre) park offers nature lovers interpretive panels throughout the park, ample bird watching, and features both wide, accessible trails and more rustic nature trails for walking, running and biking.Wintertime attracts snowshoers and ice-skaters to the new outdoor rink behind the Rotary Pavilion which is a popular log structure for gatherings and meetings.

North Head Campground & Park

North Head Campground and Park — formerly Hole-in-the-Wall Park and Campground — is encompassed by 100 hectares of natural terrain unique to this coastal area of the Bay of Fundy (the Fundy Biosphere Reserve is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve).

Odell Park & Odell Arboretum

Odell Park is a 135-ha (333-acre) park located in the heart of Fredericton. It's a sample of the once widespread northern hardwood forest that stretched unbroken from the Saint John River Valley to the Appalachian Mountains in New England. It is home to 420 hemlock trees that are more than 400 years old and a number of endangered, threatened and rare species. Winter features include an outdoor rink, sliding hill and cross-country ski trails.

Lillas Fawcett Park and Silver Lake

Lillas Fawcett Park and Silver Lake provide the ideal spot for freshwater swimming, boating and fishing. During the summer months, the accessible swimming area is clearly marked and a lifeguard is on duty during the afternoons. Lillas Fawcett Park features recently built changing stations, a natural playground, and kayak and paddleboard rentals. Boaters, canoers, kayakers have access to the large lake via a public ramp and accessible dock. Try trout fishing at Silver Lake as well.

Carleton Park

4.4 ha (11 acres) of waterfront green space offers a spectacular view of Fredericton's downtown and the most amazing sunsets. A public boat launch is also accessible. Benches and shelters make this a wonderful picnic site. Carleton Park is located on the city's trail network, North Riverfront Trail, making it an ideal destination from the south side of Fredericton by way of the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge.

Ocean View Park

Family park with a wide variety of sites available, 134 lots (15, 20 or 30 amp.), free wireless high speed Internet, canteen and amusement park. Mini golf, rec room, laundromat, washroom and showers.

Riverside Park

Surrounded by the picturesque scenery of Riverside Park—complete with a large gazebo, stone walkways, lamp-post lighting, granite benches, trees, flower beds, and a scenic view of the Saint John River—relaxation comes naturally. A nature trail provides access to the Sentier NB Trail and the lower Shiktehawk Stream. Pack a picnic and stay for the day! The park hosts Outdoor Markets from July to September and the Tuesday summer music series. Come winter, our Potato Barrel Tree shines brightly!

French Fort Cove Nature Park

Connect with nature by experiencing outdoor recreational activities at the beautiful historical French Fort Cove multi-season nature park. Enjoy a peaceful walk on the hiking trails, cycle the extensive mountain bike trail system or experience the thrill of soaring from one end of the park to the other on the Maritimes’ Longest Zipline. Canoe, kayak or paddle boat rentals in the summer. Walking, snowshoeing and skating trail in the winter.

Magnetic Hill (Parkindale) Covered Bridge

Originally constructed as Parkindale Covered Bridge in 1916 (Coverdale River #7, in Albert County), this 17.5 m (57.5 ft.) long structure was relocated to Magnetic Hill and rebuilt in 1982. Driving directions: Route 2, Exit 450, to Route 126 North, (Mountain Road) to Magnetic Hill Theme Park.

Neguac Bird Sanctuary (Île-Aux-Foins Park)

A perfect spot for nature lovers as well as loads of room for family fun - the Neguac Bird Sanctuary has it all at Île-aux-Foins Park. Travel a narrow causeway to the most spectacular ocean view imaginable! At Île-Aux-Foins Park, boardwalks and floating decks connect you to sandy beaches jutting into the ocean waves. This is a true eco-tourism site, which means you'll find interpretative signs to fill you in on the flora and fauna native to the area. An observation tower stands at one end of the beautiful beach, where you can gaze out to Portage Island National Wildlife area.

Miramichi Freestyle Park

A supervised, all-wheel sport facility. Open to BMX, skateboards, scooters and in-line skates. Park includes: 30 ramps, 3 m (9 ft.) half-pipe, 1 m (4 ft.) x 2 m (6 ft.) half-pipe and special features.

Ponderosa Pines Park

Family campground near the Hopewell Rocks. Environmentally concerned property with forest, lakes, retired pasture, marsh with moose, birdwatching. RV sites with full service 30/50 amp, RV tours and Big Rigs Welcome, tent trailers and unserviced tenting sites. Mineral Springs Park

The park has an arboretum with 2.5 km (1.5 mi.) of nature trails and birdwatching. You can find rest areas and different varieties of trees.

The Inch Arran Park is a beautiful and low-insect campsite. The main attraction of our campsite is its location; it offers a magnificent view of over the Baie of Chaleur. It offers a mix of natural beauty and ancient heritage where you are next to a beach that is just perfect for games, safe bathing, water sports for all ages, and close to the countryside which offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure and activities.

Sandy Beach Trailer Park 1988 Ltd.

Family campground within a one-minute walk to an unsupervised, clean and warm saltwater beach, with change house, washrooms, showers, parking, food service, two laundromats, pull-thru sites, WI-FI, dumping depot. We also rent cottages in the summer. Organized activities with large playground, including a fenced area for smaller children. Bilingual service. Security guard during peak times. Wheelchair access to a sandy beach which stretches for more than 1 km (0.6 mi). Pets welcome.

Long Beach - Fundy Trail Provincial Park

This 2.5 km sandy shoreline beach is rimmed with an interesting array of cobbled rocks. At low tide, Long Beach extends for 500 metres into the bay so you can truly walk on the ocean floor. Picnic shelters and washrooms, along with interpretation panels are found here, so pack a picnic and plan to spend the day. The park also has 3 discovery beaches (Melvin, Pangburn and Big Salmon River) that are ideal to explore.

Youghall Beach Park

Experience Youghall Beach's golden sands and stunning blue waters. Enjoy FREE access to some Eastern Canada's warmest waters in the Chaleur Bay, along with groomed sandy beaches. With a boardwalk reaching the beach from several access points, an outdoor platform for yoga sessions, five beach volleyball courts, a boat slip, great fishing spots, an outdoor amphitheatre, and a playground area, Youghall Beach Park is an ideal destination for the young and young at heart.

Grand Manan Beaches (Anchorage, Castalia Park, Dark Harbour, Deep Cove, North Head, Seal Cove)

Wherever you go on the island, there's sure to be a terrific beach nearby, where the words "crowded beach" is defined by the number of gulls and other seabirds on the beach that day. It's no wonder Reader's Digest voted Grand Manan Island as one of the World's 7 Best Small Islands ! Anchorage Beach is an unsupervised, sandy, saltwater beach where you can relax with the Bay of Fundy nipping at your toes. Do some beachcombing, see wildlife and check the nearby freshwater ponds – a great spot to cast your line for trout. Canoe or kayak as well.Castalia Park Beach is gravel and salt marsh.

Pokeshaw Park & Beach

Beautiful park and beach which operated and maintained by community volunteers. Unsupervised saltwater swimming beach. Scenic lookout, birdwatching, cormorant nesting site, and wind- and wave-carved shoreline. Picnic site, washrooms.

Bas-Caraquet Municipal Beach

Saltwater beach with food and bar service, change houses, washrooms, showers, playground, aquatic park, barbecue and picnic areas.
