Lillas Fawcett Park and Silver Lake

Lillas Fawcett Park and Silver Lake provide the ideal spot for freshwater swimming, boating and fishing. During the summer months, the accessible swimming area is clearly marked and a lifeguard is on duty during the afternoons. Lillas Fawcett Park features recently built changing stations, a natural playground, and kayak and paddleboard rentals. Boaters, canoers, kayakers have access to the large lake via a public ramp and accessible dock. Try trout fishing at Silver Lake as well.

Magnetic Hill (Parkindale) Covered Bridge

Originally constructed as Parkindale Covered Bridge in 1916 (Coverdale River #7, in Albert County), this 17.5 m (57.5 ft.) long structure was relocated to Magnetic Hill and rebuilt in 1982. Driving directions: Route 2, Exit 450, to Route 126 North, (Mountain Road) to Magnetic Hill Theme Park.

Wolastoq Park

Wolastoq means "the beautiful river," in the language of the Maliseet (Wolastoqiyik) people who lived beside the Saint John River. Overlooking the river, the park boasts one of the best views of the Reversing Rapids, the inner harbour and the city skyline. It features statues of some of the historical figures that have helped shape the region's history. Learn about Koluskap, the Great Beaver; the Maliseet people's story about how the Bay of Fundy was created. You can also learn about Samuel de Champlain, Madame La Tour and many more.

Dutch Point Park Trail

Open year-round, 2000 metres of hiking, walking and biking trails through a 30 acre park and along Ossekeag Creek, a diverse wetland area part of Trans Canada Trail (The Great Trail). The park also includes 2 ball fields, a family playground and Erb's Hill, a popular sliding spot in winter. Includes five routes; Erb's Hill (100m), Wetmore's Walk (300m), Coleman's Trail (600m), Pendergrass Trail (250m), Haden Hill's Loop (600m).

Riverside Park

Surrounded by the picturesque scenery of Riverside Park—complete with a large gazebo, stone walkways, lamp-post lighting, granite benches, trees, flower beds, and a scenic view of the Saint John River—relaxation comes naturally. A nature trail provides access to the Sentier NB Trail and the lower Shiktehawk Stream. Pack a picnic and stay for the day! The park hosts Outdoor Markets from July to September and the Tuesday summer music series. Come winter, our Potato Barrel Tree shines brightly!

North Head Campground & Park

North Head Campground and Park — formerly Hole-in-the-Wall Park and Campground — is encompassed by 100 hectares of natural terrain unique to this coastal area of the Bay of Fundy (the Fundy Biosphere Reserve is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve).

Vieux Moulin Park

This municipal park sits on the historic site of a former early 20th-century mill. Visitors can enjoy interpretive panels, benches, and covered picnic areas, along with restrooms and a freshwater swimming beach on the Nigadoo River.

Sackville Waterfowl Park

Explore the Sackville Waterfowl Park, a thriving wetland with 3.5 km of accessible trails, boardwalks, and viewing platforms, including a section of the Trans Canada Trail. Home to more than 160 bird species and 200 plant species, it's a haven for nature lovers and birdwatchers alike. Focus your camera on the fuzzy ducklings, listen to a sunset chorus of marsh birds, frogs, and insects, and learn about the park's ecology and history through interpretive signs and a self-guided tour. Free admission year-round and guided tours in the summer.

Oak Bay Beach & Park

Oak Bay Park is a sheltered tidal inlet off the mouth of the St. Croix River. Experience the views of the beautiful Bay of Fundy or spend an afternoon on the unsupervised sandy saltwater beach with change houses, washrooms, parking, food service, picnic areas and campground. Located less than 10 km (6 mi.) from St. Stephen and 30 km (19 mi.) from St. Andrews by-the-Sea.

Escape to Sunbury-Oromocto Park & Campground! From seasonal to overnight spots ranging from rentals to serviced and unserviced sites. Enjoy our beach, lake, and playground and events like theme days, live music, community breakfasts and more. Host private parties in our event spaces. Explore the lake with paddle boards, kayak & canoe rentals, or use our public boat launch. Our office offers camping essentials, snacks, and ice cream. Camping Municipal Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël

Camping on the edge of the saltwater beach, accessible by a boardwalk. One of the places where you can admire the most beautiful sunsets on the Acadian Peninsula. The campground is located next to the wharf, where lobster fisherman dock. Playground for children, gazebo with picnic tables, washroom facilities (restrooms and showers). Striped bass fishing in season. Total of sites : 16 (with and without service)

Killarney Lake Park

This picturesque park has supervised freshwater swimming, a sandy beach, washrooms and change rooms. It features approximately 30 km (18.6 mi.) of walking trails around the lake with connections to additional trails. In the winter months there are approximately 12.5 km (8 mi.) of groomed trails perfect for cross-country skiing and lots of open space for hiking or snowshoeing. Killarney Lake Rotary Centennial Lodge is situated across the lake from the beach area. It can accommodate group meetings, weddings and receptions.

Maisonnette Park Beach

Unsupervised saltwater beach with washrooms, parking, food service, playground and picnic area. The beach consists of a sandbar, 2.4 km (1.5 mi.) long, extending halfway across the mouth of Caraquet Bay. The water is warm, shallow and sheltered from waves and wind on one side by a grassy dune.

St. Stephen Municipal Visitor Information Centre

Herring Cove Provincial Park Golf Course

Tee up and swing away at Herring Cove Provincial Park's 9-hole golf course, overlooking the Bay of Fundy and Lake Glensevern. The course, designed by renowned golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish, is complete with a licensed restaurant, golf carts, showers, lockers, pro shop, putting green, and club rentals.

Scott Brook Park

Located on the banks of the St. Croix River, Scott Brook Park is the perfect place if you love canoeing and backwoods camping. Featuring 7 tent sites and 8 trailer sites along with a put-in launch for canoes, it is a great place to enjoy the outdoors.

Sandy Beach Tenting & Trailer Park

Family campground within a one-minute walk to a clean, warm, unsupervised saltwater beach with change house, washrooms, showers, parking, food service, laundromats, pull-thru sites, Wi-Fi, and a dumping station. Organized activities with large playground, including a fenced area for smaller children. Bilingual service. Security guard during peak times. Pets welcome. Bicycle trail nearby, golf course only 10 minutes away. Boat launch ramp available.

Deer Park Nature Trails

A series of multi-use nature trails in Deer Park, adjacent to a waterfowl marsh and the Oromocto River system featuring a wide selection of natural flora and fauna. Interconnected with the Trans-Canada Sentier NB Trail network, it's a beautiful area for walking, jogging, mountain biking and snowshoeing.

Bas-Caraquet Municipal Beach

Grand Manan Beaches (Anchorage, Castalia Park, Dark Harbour, Deep Cove, North Head, Seal Cove)

Wherever you go on the island, there's sure to be a terrific beach nearby, where the words "crowded beach" is defined by the number of gulls and other seabirds on the beach that day. It's no wonder Reader's Digest voted Grand Manan Island as one of the World's 7 Best Small Islands ! Anchorage Beach is an unsupervised, sandy, saltwater beach where you can relax with the Bay of Fundy nipping at your toes. Do some beachcombing, see wildlife and check the nearby freshwater ponds – a great spot to cast your line for trout. Canoe or kayak as well.Castalia Park Beach is gravel and salt marsh.
