French Fort Cove Nature Park

Connect with nature by experiencing outdoor recreational activities at the beautiful historical French Fort Cove multi-season nature park. Enjoy a peaceful walk on the hiking trails, cycle the extensive mountain bike trail system or experience the thrill of soaring from one end of the park to the other on the Maritimes’ Longest Zipline. Canoe, kayak or paddle boat rentals in the summer. Walking, snowshoeing and skating trail in the winter.

Camping Shippagan Aquatic Park

Our Water Park will give you access to 18 water play modules that will refresh your children on hot days. Soak up the sun and relax on one of our sun loungers during your family outing to the Water Park.

Fundy Trail Provincial Park Beaches

Long Beach features a 2.5 km stretch of sandy shoreline rimmed with an interesting array of cobbled rocks. At low tide, the beach extends 500 metres into the bay so you can truly walk on the ocean floor. Picnic shelters, washrooms, and interpretive panels are found here, so pack a lunch and plan to spend the day. The park also has several discovery beaches—including Melvin, Pangburn, Seely and Big Salmon River—that are ideal to explore on an adventurous hike.

Lillas Fawcett Park and Silver Lake

Lillas Fawcett Park and Silver Lake provide the ideal spot for freshwater swimming, boating and fishing. During the summer months, the accessible swimming area is clearly marked and a lifeguard is on duty during the afternoons. Lillas Fawcett Park features recently built changing stations, a natural playground, and kayak and paddleboard rentals. Boaters, canoers, kayakers have access to the large lake via a public ramp and accessible dock. Try trout fishing at Silver Lake as well.

Mapleton Park

This 121-ha (300-acre) park offers nature lovers interpretive panels throughout the park, ample bird watching, and features both wide, accessible trails and more rustic nature trails for walking, running and biking.Wintertime attracts snowshoers and ice-skaters to the new outdoor rink behind the Rotary Pavilion which is a popular log structure for gatherings and meetings.

Magnetic Hill (Parkindale) Covered Bridge

Originally constructed as Parkindale Covered Bridge in 1916 (Coverdale River #7, in Albert County), this 17.5 m (57.5 ft.) long structure was relocated to Magnetic Hill and rebuilt in 1982. Driving directions: Route 2, Exit 450, to Route 126 North, (Mountain Road) to Magnetic Hill Theme Park.

Vieux Moulin Park

This municipal park sits on the historic site of a former early 20th-century mill. Visitors can enjoy interpretive panels, benches, and covered picnic areas, along with restrooms and a freshwater swimming beach on the Nigadoo River.

Rockwood Park Campground

Welcome to Rockwood Park Campground! Conveniently located off Route 1, only 2km from Uptown Saint John and close to a grocery store, we offer 189 sites to cater to your needs, including fully/partially serviced, tent, rustic cabins, and seasonal sites. Embrace comfort with amenities like showers, restrooms, laundry, a canteen and Internet access. Enjoy Lily Lake Pavilion with supervised swimming, boat/bike rentals, and delightful dining at Lily's Lakeside Restaurant.

Dutch Point Park Trail

Open year-round, 2000 metres of hiking, walking and biking trails through a 30 acre park and along Ossekeag Creek, a diverse wetland area part of Trans Canada Trail (The Great Trail). The park also includes 2 ball fields, a family playground and Erb's Hill, a popular sliding spot in winter. Includes five routes; Erb's Hill (100m), Wetmore's Walk (300m), Coleman's Trail (600m), Pendergrass Trail (250m), Haden Hill's Loop (600m).

Riverside Park

Surrounded by the picturesque scenery of Riverside Park—complete with a large gazebo, stone walkways, lamp-post lighting, granite benches, trees, flower beds, and a scenic view of the Saint John River—relaxation comes naturally. A nature trail provides access to the Sentier NB Trail and the lower Shiktehawk Stream. Pack a picnic and stay for the day! The park hosts Outdoor Markets from July to September and the Tuesday summer music series. Come winter, our Potato Barrel Tree shines brightly!

Oak Bay Beach & Park

Oak Bay Park is a sheltered tidal inlet off the mouth of the St. Croix River. Experience the views of the beautiful Bay of Fundy or spend an afternoon on the unsupervised sandy saltwater beach with change houses, washrooms, parking, food service, picnic areas and campground. Located less than 10 km (6 mi.) from St. Stephen and 30 km (19 mi.) from St. Andrews by-the-Sea.

Camping Colibri Aquatic Park

Maisonnette Park Beach

Unsupervised saltwater beach with washrooms, parking, food service, playground and picnic area. The beach consists of a sandbar, 2.4 km (1.5 mi.) long, extending halfway across the mouth of Caraquet Bay. The water is warm, shallow and sheltered from waves and wind on one side by a grassy dune.

Herring Cove Provincial Park Golf Course

Tee up and swing away at Herring Cove Provincial Park's 9-hole golf course, overlooking the Bay of Fundy and Lake Glensevern. The course, designed by renowned golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish, is complete with a licensed restaurant, golf carts, showers, lockers, pro shop, putting green, and club rentals.

Inch Arran Trailer Park

The Inch Arran Park is a beautiful and low-insect campsite. The main attraction of our campsite is its location; it offers a magnificent view of over the Baie of Chaleur. It offers a mix of natural beauty and ancient heritage where you are next to a beach that is just perfect for games, safe bathing, water sports for all ages, and close to the countryside which offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure and activities.

The Aqua Park of Pokemouche Camping

Inflatable water slide and water park at Camping Pokemouche, a friendly family campground, located along the Pokemouche River, in the heart of the Acadian Peninsula near main attractions and a golf course.

Youghall Beach Park

Experience Youghall Beach's golden sands and stunning blue waters. Enjoy FREE access to some Eastern Canada's warmest waters in the Chaleur Bay, along with groomed sandy beaches. With a boardwalk reaching the beach from several access points, an outdoor platform for yoga sessions, five beach volleyball courts, a boat slip, great fishing spots, an outdoor amphitheatre, and a playground area, Youghall Beach Park is an ideal destination for the young and young at heart.

Deer Park Nature Trails

A series of multi-use nature trails in Deer Park, adjacent to a waterfowl marsh and the Oromocto River system featuring a wide selection of natural flora and fauna. Interconnected with the Trans-Canada Sentier NB Trail network, it's a beautiful area for walking, jogging, mountain biking and snowshoeing.

Île-Aux-Foins Park

Unsupervised saltwater beach with shallow water, change rooms, washrooms, playground, picnic area, observation tower and birdwatching, trail, boardwalk and floating bridges. Day park only.

Pokeshaw Park & Beach

Beautiful park and beach which operated and maintained by community volunteers. Unsupervised saltwater swimming beach. Scenic lookout, birdwatching, cormorant nesting site, and wind- and wave-carved shoreline. Picnic site, washrooms.
