Fundy Trail Provincial Park Beaches

Salmon River (St. Martins)
Long Beach features a 2.5 km stretch of sandy shoreline rimmed with an interesting array of cobbled rocks. At low tide, the beach extends 500 metres into the bay so you can truly walk on the ocean floor. Picnic shelters, washrooms, and interpretive panels are found here, so pack a lunch and plan to spend the day. The park also has several discovery beaches—including Melvin, Pangburn, Seely and Big Salmon River—that are ideal to explore on an adventurous hike.

Lillas Fawcett Park and Silver Lake

Lillas Fawcett Park and Silver Lake provide the ideal spot for freshwater swimming, boating and fishing. During the summer months, the accessible swimming area is clearly marked and a lifeguard is on duty during the afternoons. Lillas Fawcett Park features recently built changing stations, a natural playground, and kayak and paddleboard rentals. Boaters, canoers, kayakers have access to the large lake via a public ramp and accessible dock. Try trout fishing at Silver Lake as well.
