Doak House

The Doak Provincial Heritage Site commemorates Scottish entrepreneur Robert Doak and his family, who moved to the Upper Miramichi River area in the early 1820s. He established a carding mill, grist mill, sawmill and was involved in the affairs of his adopted community, which in 1854 was renamed "Doaktown" in his honour. Visit Doak House and note the architectural importance of its buildings and the richness of its original furniture preserved by several generations of the Doak Family.

Our human-sized establishment has 4 standard rooms, 1 Prestige room and 1 family room with all the necessary comfort for a peaceful stay in the Chaleur region. All our rooms, with rustic charm, are non-smoking and include wireless internet, a private bathroom with bath products provided, air conditioning and cable / satellite television. ​ For your convenience, breakfasts and lunches are served in the restaurant, located on the main floor (service not available on closing days)

NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE AND PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE. Welcome to Fredericton's historic and cultural heart. Located in the city's beautiful downtown, next to the Saint John River, the Garrison is a centre for heritage, culture, craft and entertainment. This National Historic Site is where you'll find an enticing blend of musicians, artists, historic re-enactments and attractions; including the Thursday Garrison Night Market. The Garrison District hosts several festivals including the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival.

Neguac

This peaceful and cultural village is the Savoie capital of the world and the gateway to the Acadian Peninsula. Neguac was proclaimed "Atlantic Canada's Oyster Hub" in 2007. The nice beaches and bird sanctuary of Île-aux-Foins Park provide a great place to enjoy the natural beauty of your surroundings. Head over to Richelieu Municipal Park for a great place to cool off and to grab something to eat at our canteen.

Memramcook Visitor Information Centre

Located in the beautiful Memramcook Valley, the Memramcook Visitor Information Centre is in the same building as the Monument Lefebvre National Historic Site, which houses an exhibit on the Acadian renaissance. To enhance your travel experience, the VIC staff will be happy to answer questions and provide counselling and information about the region's events and attractions. Evandale Resort & Marina

The Evandale Resort is the last of the River Boat Hotels, built in 1889. It's nestled along the river banks of the Saint John River next to Evandale Ferry, located south of the Village of Gagetown. The River Boat Hotel was built to accommodate the passengers travelling the Saint John River on steam boats. This building still maintains its historic charm showing off modern features, a perfect destination to meet the needs of our guests.

Miscou Island

Windswept Natural Sanctuary The road less travelled leads here... to shores of untouched, unspoiled and uncommon beauty. This coastal island is home to spectacular beaches, fascinating trails and vast peat bogs that turns scarlet red in the fall. From the Municipal Visitor Information Centre at the entrance of Miscou (9742, Route 113) to the historic lighthouse facing the ocean at the very tip of the island, you will experience the peaceful remoteness of a place like no other.

Richelieu Municipal Park

A beautiful park in the heart of the Municipality of Neguac, this green space is home to the historic Savoie Family Monument. In the summer, enjoy a gazebo that doubles as a stage, along with picnic tables, washrooms and a canteen. Kids will love the playground and splash pad. In the winter, visitors can take advantage of skating and walking trails. The park also hosts special events throughout the year.

Kingston Farmers Market

Located on the Kingston Peninsula, the Kingston Farmers Market is very active with over 100 vendors of various agricultural, food and artisan products. The market is a favourite meeting place for area residents and tourists alike. You are welcomed to drop by and enjoy a coffee as you browse and chat with local vendors, both inside the market building or outside in the courtyard, under the canopy.

Roosevelt Campobello International Park

KV Adventures is a LGBTQ family owned and operated kayak and tube rental company operating just outside Saint John in the beautiful Kennebecasis Valley. We offer kayak rentals, guided excursions and a Ladies Kayak Club. Water Street Farmers Market

The Water Street Farmers Market, located in the former town of Chatham (now part of the city of Miramichi), is known for its warmth and hospitality. Open Saturdays from 9am to 1pm year round (except Jan-Feb), it features quality handcrafted wares—knitting, crochet, woodworking, pottery, handmade soaps, needlepoint, fine stitchery and quilts. Food vendors offer home-cooked breakfasts, baked goods and specialty desserts, canned and pickled fruit and vegetables, meats, produce and bedding plants.

Inch Arran Trailer Park

The Inch Arran Park is a beautiful and low-insect campsite. The main attraction of our campsite is its location; it offers a magnificent view of over the Baie of Chaleur. It offers a mix of natural beauty and ancient heritage where you are next to a beach that is just perfect for games, safe bathing, water sports for all ages, and close to the countryside which offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure and activities.

Rivière-Verte

Ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts, well-known for trout fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Enjoy the biking trail and picnic area along Route 144 and drive up to visit the Pointu de la rivière Verte lookout, a park with trails and an observation tower offering a splendid 360-degree view on the entire region. In the fall, the splendid landscape transforms itself into a symphony of colors.

Cave View Cottages- Sea Breeze Cottage

Sea Breeze is a charming beach house located next door to the famous Sea Caves in St. Martins and just steps from two well-known local restaurants. Guests are minutes from Fundy Trail Provincial Park and a short drive from the West Quaco Lighthouse. The area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, kayaking, dining, and exploring the ocean floor at low tide. The beach and restaurants are a two-minute walk away, with ATV and snowmobile trails nearby.

The Fraser Edmundston Golf Club continues to be rated as one of the best golf courses in the Maritime Provinces. The Fraser Edmundston Golf Club offers a splendid panoramic view and a great challenge to all golfers. The course offers some short and fairly long Par 4’s and the Par 3 holes are incredibly challenging ranging from 165 yards to 207 yards from the blue tees.
