Auberge d'Anjou - Cocooning Cafe

Our human-sized establishment has 4 standard rooms, 1 Prestige room and 1 family room with all the necessary comfort for a peaceful stay in the Chaleur region. All our rooms, with rustic charm, are non-smoking and include wireless internet, a private bathroom with bath products provided, air conditioning and cable / satellite television. ​ For your convenience, breakfasts and lunches are served in the restaurant, located on the main floor (service not available on closing days)

Aboiteau Beach (Plage de l'Aboiteau)

Aboiteau Beach was the first saltwater beach in Canada to get the blue flag certification (in 2018), and in 2023 it was the first beach in Eastern Canada to receive the Rainbow Registered certification. Aboiteau Beach has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday. A short stroll along the boardwalk will take you anywhere you want to go. Walk the 5 km (3 mi.) long shoreline, go for a swim in the warm saltwater, or play a game of beach volleyball. You can also enjoy a delicious seafood dinner overlooking the ocean.

Crabbe Mountain

Crabbe Mountain boasts New Brunswick's largest and highest vertical drop, and some of the best skiing and snowboarding terrain in Atlantic Canada. There are 32 alpine trails and glades and 2 terrain parks with something for everyone. We also have over 30 km (18 mi.) of classic Nordic-skiing and snowshoe trails. We offer rental equipment, a repair shop, cafeteria, retail shop, lounge, ATM and more.

An Island Chalet

Situated on the ocean with a spectacular view of sunsets, our chalets offer all amenities – two bedrooms, queen bed/two singles, fully equipped kitchen, full bath, living room and satellite TV. Our housekeeping chalets are a five-minute drive from Lubec, Maine, USA and adjacent to the Roosevelt Campobello International Park. Visit lighthouses, drink in the beauty of the Bay of Fundy and take a whale-watching trip. Enjoy fresh-from-the-boat fish and lobster dinners at local restaurants, stroll our many windswept beaches, or play a round of golf on a course with ocean views.

Evandale Resort & Marina

The Evandale Resort is the last of the River Boat Hotels, built in 1889. It's nestled along the river banks of the Saint John River next to Evandale Ferry, located south of the Village of Gagetown. The River Boat Hotel was built to accommodate the passengers travelling the Saint John River on steam boats. This building still maintains its historic charm showing off modern features, a perfect destination to meet the needs of our guests.

Bill Johnstone Memorial Park

This park located in the heart of Sackville includes a splash pad, playground, tennis courts, basketball court, bandstand, activity centre, artistic fountain, and public washrooms. The park is also home to the Sackville Farmers Market, music concerts, movies in the park, and many more events throughout the year. The activity centre is available for rent. A lovely spot for families near our stores and restaurants.

Kingston Farmers Market

Located on the Kingston Peninsula, the Kingston Farmers Market is very active with over 100 vendors of various agricultural, food and artisan products. The market is a favourite meeting place for area residents and tourists alike. You are welcomed to drop by and enjoy a coffee as you browse and chat with local vendors, both inside the market building or outside in the courtyard, under the canopy.

Inch Arran Trailer Park

The Inch Arran Park is a beautiful and low-insect campsite. The main attraction of our campsite is its location; it offers a magnificent view of over the Baie of Chaleur. It offers a mix of natural beauty and ancient heritage where you are next to a beach that is just perfect for games, safe bathing, water sports for all ages, and close to the countryside which offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure and activities.

White Rock Recreation Area

White Rock Recreational Area, located on the Golf Club Road just before the Hillsborough Golf Club, offers beautiful walking and mountain bike trails. Trails are built on a former gypsum mine, so you can definitely expect to see some white rocks on and around the trails! For mountain bikers, White Rock Recreational Area has both some challenging trails and lots of different terrain. Many of the Green trails are multi-purpose or shared trails so there’s lots to explore, while intermediate and expert trails provide an excellent challenge to more experienced riders.

Miscou Island

Windswept Natural Sanctuary The road less travelled leads here... to shores of untouched, unspoiled and uncommon beauty. This coastal island is home to spectacular beaches, fascinating trails and vast peat bogs that turns scarlet red in the fall. From the Municipal Visitor Information Centre at the entrance of Miscou (9742, Route 113) to the historic lighthouse facing the ocean at the very tip of the island, you will experience the peaceful remoteness of a place like no other.

La Belle Cabane

Find off-grid freedom in the forest in a romantic tiny and cozy cabin on the beautiful Kingston Peninsula. Paquetville (Hautes-Terres)

The village of Paquetville, birthplace of singer/songwriter, Édith Butler, is situated inland and is surrounded by the Caraquet and Pokemouche rivers, which are well known to sport-fishing enthusiasts. The stately Saint-Augustin church, atop Du Parc street, is one of the largest stone churches in the Maritimes. Paquetville is known for its restaurants, stores and maple products. During maple season, don't miss the Paquetville Maple Carnival.

Kayak Péninsule

Kayak guided tours on the coastal waters along the Acadian Peninsula along the magnificent coastlines of Grande-Anse. Come and explore fascinating sea caves. You can also kayak and experience clam digging and cook them on the spot! Each tour includes a lunch. Kayak rentals are also available for those who wish to go out on their own. Crimmins Pottery

Functional stoneware pottery. Crimmins Pottery has been part of the New Brunswick craft community since 1970. “Much of how and where we live is captured in our work; our lives are constantly changing and being influenced by the work we do.”Visitors can watch the work in progress, enjoy the outdoor-deck gallery and sculpture garden, and browse the pottery shop which is brimming with creative pieces suitable for any setting.

Taymouth Community Market

You’re invited to the Taymouth Community Market where you’ll discover a variety of sweet treats, handmade crafts and other goodies! Visitors are welcomed with free coffee or tea and can enjoy live performances as they wander throughout the market. Open on select Saturdays from 9 am to 12:30 pm, the market takes place outdoors from May to fall, moving inside once the weather turns colder. Chez la Marquise

Located near Caraquet, on a quiet, and private lot. It features a cathedral ceiling, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large deck with a great view of the river. Amenities include satellite TV, internet , washer and dryer, telephone, outdoor fireplaces, a sun umbrella and a barbecue. Go for a paddle in a kayak or canoe or utilize the boat ramp for a boating excursion. The property is an excellent birdwatching site, and a cycling trail is located about 1 km (0.6 mi.) away.

Grand Manan Museum

Community-owned museum with collections and exhibits reflecting many aspects of the island's fishery, navigation, cultural history, and natural sciences. It houses over 24 permanent exhibits, including the Allan Moses Gallery of 300 taxidermy birds and a touch screen of bird calls. Recent additions include marine tidal murals and new outdoor exhibits. The tax-free shop features the varied work of many Maritime artisans. Public evening programmes in both arts and sciences run twice weekly throughout July and August.
