McAdam

Located on the New Brunswick/Maine border along Route 4, the Village of McAdam has been greeting visitors since the mid 1800’s when it served as a major railway center. This rural community is home to the McAdam Railway Station, a National Historic Site of Canada and New Brunswick Provincial Historic Site, and likes to be known as New Brunswick’s friendliest village, having hosted thousands of passengers passing through by train.

Connect with the land, the ocean and the wide-open sky at Fundy National Park, New Brunswick's first national park, created in 1948 and open year-round.

Inch Arran Lighthouse (Bon Ami)

This 1870 lighthouse stands on a point with a panoramic view of Chaleur Bay. Originally called the Bon Ami Point Light, it was converted to a range light in 1972 and is still active. The original wooden, salt-shaker tower has a unique ‘birdcage' lantern. It's a perfect spot for birdwatching and it's also just 100 m (328 ft.) from beautiful Inch Arran Park, where you'll find a sandy beach, campground, food, gift shop and a Visitor Information Centre. One of the longest combined fresh and saltwater sandbar in the world is located nearby. Driving directions: Route 134, near Inch Arran Park

Mactaquac Provincial Park

The Four-Season PlaygroundOpen for all four seasons, Mactaquac Provincial Park offers many outdoor activities to explore. Situated amongst an expansive woodland, this 1,300-acre riverside playground along the scenic Saint John River offers many outdoor recreational activities, along with an extensive network of hiking trails to explore and a tranquil beaver pond nature reserve. From golfing on the 18-hole championship golf course to camping, freshwater beaches and treetop aerial adventures, there is always an adventure to be had at the park.

Val-Comeau Beach

Unsupervised saltwater beach with a 2-km (1-mi.) stretch of golden sand. The beach is backed by substantial dunes and washed by the constant ebb and flow of breakers from the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Washrooms, parking, change rooms, playground and picnic areas on site. Close to a campground. Deep-sea fishing excursions may be arranged at the nearby wharf.

Camping Murraywood

Full-service campground with a family atmosphere located on beautiful Chaleur Bay. Some shaded sites, 15, 30 and 50 amps. Indoor and outdoor family activities. 0.5 km (0.3 mi.) from the municipal beach where explorers can even find fossils.

Richiboucto Head Lighthouse

This attractive 1864 lighthouse has an original wooden salt-shaker tower with alterations done in 1988. This active lighthouse is located on an elevated bluff overlooking the Northumberland Strait. There is a working wharf within view of the lighthouse, it's adjacent to cottages and a campground and Cap-Lumière Beach is nearby. This is a good seaside picnic location. Driving directions: Routes 11 and 134, then Route 505 to Cap-Lumière Road.

Par 3 golf course situated between downtown Shediac and Parlee Beach, green fees, club and pull cart rentals, pro shop, great family golf. Campground with pull thru and 50 amp sites available, Wi-Fi, cable, tenting sites, modern washrooms and showers, prime location on nature trail and close to downtown Shediac and Parlee Beach. Camping Municipal Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël

Camping on the edge of the saltwater beach, accessible by a boardwalk. One of the places where you can admire the most beautiful sunsets on the Acadian Peninsula. The campground is located next to the wharf, where lobster fisherman dock. Playground for children, gazebo with picnic tables, washroom facilities (restrooms and showers). Striped bass fishing in season. Total of sites : 16 (with and without service)

Camping Shippagan Beach

Sheltered by forest onshore and by islands offshore, this lovely unsupervised saltwater beach offers a boating and aquatic centre and a campground with serviced sites, as well as change houses, washrooms, parking, a playground, splash pad, a picnic area, seaside boardwalk and a marina. Stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals are available, as well as recreational fishing and miniature golf.

Cottages Colibri

Three “ready-to-camp” cabins available for rental at the Motel and Colibri Campground. These cottages can accommodate up to 6 people, with a queen bed, two bunk beds and a double sofa bed. To add to your comfort, you will find a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and a small terrace with a BBQ. Outside, it’s as if you’re camping with the woods and the campfire to roast your favorite marshmallows.
