Unsupervised saltwater beach with change houses, washrooms, parking, food service, campground and picnic area. Imagine a mile-long barrier sandbar washed by salt water on one side and fresh water on the other. Seafood takeout on the beach during summer months.

Grand Bay-Westfield

Located in southwestern New Brunswick along the beautiful Saint John River, you will find the town of Grand Bay-Westfield, the result of the two, originally separate, villages being officially merged in 1998. A growing community, Grand Bay-Westfield is the gateway to the Lower St. John River Valley. The town also has a ferry landing at the end of Ferry Road where the cable ferry connects Grand Bay-Westfield with the community of Hardings Point, across the river on the Kingston Peninsula. A campground and public beach can be found in these locations, near the ferry landings.

Jacquet River Beach

Unsupervised saltwater beach, washrooms, parking, food services nearby, campground and picnic areas. The view from the wooded bluff above the clean sand-and-gravel beach is gorgeous. Groceries and gas are available nearby.

Camping Murraywood

Full-service campground with a family atmosphere located on beautiful Chaleur Bay. Some shaded sites, 15, 30 and 50 amps. Indoor and outdoor family activities. 0.5 km (0.3 mi.) from the municipal beach where explorers can even find fossils.

Spednic Lake Park

If you like the backwoods, Spednic Lake Park campground is the place to be. We offer 14 tenting sites and 8 trailer sites to accommodate the best outdoor experience. The lake is within walking distance from any campsite. Within the park is also the Boulderwalk Trail featuring two different paths with an observation deck along the way.

Sandy Beach
