Richiboucto Head Lighthouse

This attractive 1864 lighthouse has an original wooden salt-shaker tower with alterations done in 1988. This active lighthouse is located on an elevated bluff overlooking the Northumberland Strait. There is a working wharf within view of the lighthouse, it's adjacent to cottages and a campground and Cap-Lumière Beach is nearby. This is a good seaside picnic location.
