Beresford Beach

Beresford Beach, an unsupervised saltwater beach with washrooms, picnic tables, canteen, a park, toys for children and an outdoor stage, is the perfect place to swim, relax and bask in the sun. Inch Arran Lighthouse (Bon Ami)

This 1870 lighthouse stands on a point with a panoramic view of Chaleur Bay. Originally called the Bon Ami Point Light, it was converted to a range light in 1972 and is still active. The original wooden, salt-shaker tower has a unique ‘birdcage' lantern. It's a perfect spot for birdwatching and it's also just 100 m (328 ft.) from beautiful Inch Arran Park, where you'll find a sandy beach, campground, food, gift shop and a Visitor Information Centre. Shogomoc Railway Site

Stretch your legs at Shogomoc Railway Site, a Canadian and local historic place. The 1914 CPR Station cannot be toured but its architecture can still be appreciated! You will also find three historic train cars. Site offers an outside train-themed play structure, RV parking, access to walking trails, Riverside Park as well a seasonal bike rentals.

Le Goulet (Shippagan)

This small village by the sea has a natural, unsupervised beach with showers, changing rooms and observation tower. Souvenir boutique, municipal park and rollerskate on a skating rink.

Pointe-Sapin Lighthouse (Rear Range)

This 1903 salt-shaker style lighthouse has a yellow navigation light. It is located on the Acadian Coastal Drive, 8 km (5 mi.) north of Kouchibouguac National Park of Canada, located on a very small parcel of land adjacent to residential properties. For your enjoyment, there is a beach across the road. There is limited parking. This lighthouse is operational and an active aid to navigation. It has a square white pyramidal shaped wooden tower with a red-square lantern and a red-vertical stripe on the corner facing the alignment.

Huge annual indoor craft artisan market open 5 days a week from May to December, featuring Maritime-made (with some exceptions) products, crafts and and artisans (over 100). We are located at the VERY back of Shediac Mall, accessible via Calder or Comeau Street. We have our own separate entrance. Lots of parking. Very near Pascal-Poirier Park.

Pointe-du-Chêne Range (Front and Rear Ranges)

These original, wooden salt-shaker towers, which are still active, were built as a pair in 1895, and were designed to work as a team; one as a front range, the other a rear range. Located within the boundaries of Parlee Beach Provincial Park, they are also in a private cottage zone. These landmarks are somewhat famous, having appeared in countless of tourism brochures depicting the beauty of our province!
