Inch Arran Lighthouse (Bon Ami)

This 1870 lighthouse stands on a point with a panoramic view of Chaleur Bay. Originally called the Bon Ami Point Light, it was converted to a range light in 1972 and is still active. The original wooden, salt-shaker tower has a unique ‘birdcage' lantern. It's a perfect spot for birdwatching and it's also just 100 m (328 ft.) from beautiful Inch Arran Park, where you'll find a sandy beach, campground, food, gift shop and a Visitor Information Centre. One of the longest combined fresh and saltwater sandbar in the world is located nearby. Driving directions: Route 134, near Inch Arran Park

Shogomoc Railway Site

Stretch your legs at Shogomoc Railway Site, a Canadian and local historic place. The 1914 CPR Station cannot be toured but its architecture can still be appreciated! You will also find three historic train cars. Site offers an outside train-themed play structure, RV parking, access to walking trails, Riverside Park as well a seasonal bike rentals.

Pointe-du-Chêne Range (Front and Rear Ranges)

These original, wooden salt-shaker towers, which are still active, were built as a pair in 1895, and were designed to work as a team; one as a front range, the other a rear range. Located within the boundaries of Parlee Beach Provincial Park, they are also in a private cottage zone. These landmarks are somewhat famous, having appeared in countless of tourism brochures depicting the beauty of our province! Grande-Anse Beach

Unsupervised saltwater beach sheltered between wave-sculpted rock formations. Change houses, washrooms, parking, food service and picnic area. Also has a children's play area, volleyball court and access ramp from the elevated parking area down to a sandy beach. Close to accommodation and the Village Historique Acadien.

Campobello Island Beaches (Dunn, Friar's Bay, Raccoon, Herring Cove, Mill Cove)

There are a number of unspoiled beaches on this island in the Bay of Fundy, where you can lie in the sun, explore the rocks and tidal pools, or watch the seabirds and other wildlife. It's easy to see why this island is a popular summer destination with travellers the world over! Dunn Beach is smooth and sandy. Friar's Bay has a lovely view across the water to Eastport, Maine. It's the perfect place for a leisurely stroll, or to just sit and enjoy the breathtaking view. Raccoon Beach, accessible by trail, is located within Roosevelt International Park.

This cozy cottage is set on a 3/4 acre property. Enjoy the outdoors and play games, BBQ on the large deck, relax around the fire pit or lounge in the sun and listen to the soothing waters of Cleveland Brook. This cottage is located within walking distance of the Alma wharf and the many wonderful restaurants and shops in town. Fundy National Park is only minutes away by car where you can hike, fish, swim, kayak, snowshoe, cross-country ski, and golf. ATV and snowmobile trails are also close by.

Petit-Rocher (Belle-Baie)

Petit-Rocher is an Acadian municipality located on the coast of the beautiful Chaleur Bay. There are accommodations, restaurants, a superb beach and a great recreational park with services, picnic areas and games (volleyball, horseshoes and washers).

Grande-Anse Wharf Beach

Unsupervised saltwater beach, washrooms and food service. The beach is easily accessible from the parking area located behind the Grande-Anse Municipal visitor information centre. High cliffs provide a scenic backdrop to this attractive local beach along the coast of Chaleur Bay.

Oromocto Trails

Enjoy year-round fun on our three trail systems here in Oromocto! Families can experience a leisurely walk at our Deer Park trails, Gateway trails with their lovely bridges and along the Trans-Canada Trail. The River Valley Cycling Club maintains the Deer Park trails in the winter which are great for fatbiking.

Wostawea Cross Country Ski Club

An active and welcoming cross-country skiing community offering lessons for children and adults, weekend group ski outings, race competitions and access to many kilometres of groomed trails in the UNB Forest, Kingswood Park and Killarney Park in Fredericton.
