Acadian Festival of Poetry of Caraquet

Founded in 1997, the Festival acadien de poésie is the oldest francophone literary festival in Atlantic Canada. Each year, it brings together some thirty artists working in contemporary poetry from Acadia and the rest of the Francophonie. Through public readings, performances, talks, exhibitions and a host of other poetic and interdisciplinary experiences, poetry is showcased throughout Caraquet and the Acadian Peninsula.
