The Bon Ami Festival is the largest festivals in Dalhousie. Many who no longer live in Dalhousie return each year to take part in the numerous festivities. Family and high school reunions have become a big part of the celebrations and these continue to grow each year. Activities held throughout the Bon Ami Festival include a gigantic beach party, market days, parade, pageantry, dancing, sporting events, specials at restaurants and a spectacular firework extravaganza.
