Deaf & Hard of Hearing
Closed captioning is turned on, on the TVs or public boards in common areas/public spaces
The business has a visual warning (alarm) system. ex. flashing lights that accompany fire alarms - One in 20 sleeping units shall have a visual signal device by subsection 9.10.8 of code
Staff are trained to use alternative communication tools such as apps or text messaging
