Aux Ti-Bo Rêves

Sharing a Wonderful Part of the WorldFrom the window of your Bed & Breakfast, you have a clear view of Sugarloaf Provincial Park. Soon you’ll be riding your mountain bike along the park’s many trails. Sugarloaf, after all, is Atlantic Canada’s only lift-serviced mountain bike park, and cycling is just one of the outdoor adventures you’ve come to the Campbellton area to experience. Yesterday, as you canoed the Restigouche River, you kept pinching yourself to make sure you weren’t dreaming, and here you are, staying at Aux Ti-Bo Rêves, right in the middle of it all. Carmen Thibault has been operating Aux Ti-Bo Rêves, her Bed & Breakfast in downtown Campbellton, for more than 10 years, and she still enjoys every minute of it. She says the best part of the experience is meeting people and making new friends. They come to the Chaleur Bay area to experience the beaches and the many outdoor-adventure opportunities. They also want to experience our Acadian culture.”Thibault says that one of the things people enjoy about her Bed & Breakfast is that it’s self-serve, complete with its own kitchen. “I don’t live in the house, so for guests it’s like they have their own home away from home. They can get up when they want and enjoy their stay on their own schedule.” Not only that, but the location is perfect. Guests are within a short driving distance of the Gaspé Peninsula, inviting Chaleur Bay beaches and the Restigouche River, one of the world’s greatest Atlantic-salmon rivers.“Running a Bed & Breakfast is a dream come true for me,” Carmen says. “Every time someone arrives who has never been here before, I get excited. It’s an opportunity for me to share this wonderful part of the world with them.”
