Barachois Historical Church

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE

The oldest wooden church in Acadia (1826), the Saint-Henri-de-Barachois church houses a museum, an art gallery and an auditorium. Unique collection of traditional religious objects and vestments.

The Msgr. Camille-André-LeBlanc Museum has a collection including traditional religious utensils and vestments, and traditional artefacts from the local community. In addition to the community museum, the church is home to an art gallery and a concert hall featuring modern art exhibitions and a venue for performing arts.
