Stop at the Cap-Pelé Visitor Information Centre to receive information about this region of the province, such as: • Travel assistance and itinerary planning • New Brunswick official travel map and touring guide • Information about events, attractions and festivals The Centre has a souvenir boutique and sits on a historic site, where the first inhabitants of Cap-Pelé settled in 1804. The building resembles a herring smokehouse and houses a Smokehouse Museum.
