Elmhurst Outdoors is a small family run operation that promotes education and recreation in the outdoors. We provide various fun-filled opportunities throughout the year.
In spring, Elmhurst Outdoors bustles with activity with their Maple Sugar Bush Tour & Pancakes. Take a guided interpretive hike, enjoy a tree-tapping demonstration, visit the evaporating room and delight in the traditional treat of taffy-on-snow. Make your visit complete with a stop at the lodge to enjoy a delicious meal of home-made pancakes, locally made sausage, baked beans, and, of course, pure maple syrup!
During the summer, we offer canoe and kayak instruction on the scenic Belleisle Bay. In fall, guests can revel in the colours of autumn during guided hikes and canoe outings followed by seasonal, local, home cooked luncheons.
When the snow flies, cross-country skiers enjoy our groomed trails (both classic and skate skiing), and our snowshoe trails provide a perfect escape in the winter woods. Our cozy lodge is available for meeting space and meals for up to 60 people.
