Community-owned museum with collections and exhibits reflecting many aspects of the island's fishery, navigation, cultural history, and natural sciences. It houses over 24 permanent exhibits, including the Allan Moses Gallery of 300 taxidermy birds and a touch screen of bird calls. Recent additions include marine tidal murals and new outdoor exhibits. The tax-free shop features the varied work of many Maritime artisans. Public evening programmes in both arts and sciences run twice weekly throughout July and August.
