A pleasant walk brings you through centuries as you're greeted along the way by interpreters recreating the lifestyle of their ancestors. Situated in about 60 historical buildings, they illustrate the daily chores and trades of yesteryear, from the late 18th to the mid-20th centuries. Most of the buildings are original structures which have been reinstalled on the site. Take a full day to explore the village, stopping at one of the 2 post houses for a snack, and perhaps at the Table des Ancêtres inn for an old-fashioned meal.
