The New Brunswick Railway Museum features historic railway equipment, including Canadian National Railways locomotive #1009, diesel locomotives, and a replica of the 1881 Hillsboro station. Explore vintage passenger coaches, a caboose, a rare double-ended snowplough and a heritage motor car. The exhibit building showcases railway artefacts and photos, while displays explore Hillsborough’s gypsum industry, narrow-gauge railways and Albertite, a unique mineral once hauled by horse-drawn railway to the Petitcodiac River wharf.
