The Restigouche Farmers Market is a regional community farmers market and tourist information centre located in the beautiful town of Dalhousie. The market aims to foster community health and local economic development by providing patrons with healthy, locally produced, environmentally friendly food. Bring your family along to admire the unique creations of our local artisans, sample the delicious tastes of locally grown food, or simply relax and enjoy the day! The market is housed in a 613 sq. m (6,600 sq. ft.) building on .8 ha (2 acres) of land, and is an ideal venue for meetings, banquets, functions and other cultural and social events. It provides the community with a place to socialize and reinforce a sense of community identity. The Restigouche Farmers Market is the result of local unity and collaboration, and greatly enhances quality of life in our region. It’s not just a place where vendors can sell their wares, it’s a place for people to meet! The market is just a short drive from the neighbouring communities of Balmoral, Charlo, Eel River Crossing and Eel River Bar First Nation. It operates on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
