Sureau Blanc Cross Country Ski Club

The Sureau Blanc Cross Country Ski Club started in 1980 in a small cabin in the woods. It now has a lodge with heat, power and kitchenette, 13 km of cross-country ski trails, snowshoe trails, over 300 members and 20 certified coaches, including provincial coach Manon Losier. This very active and dynamic club is managed by a committee of volunteers. Their goal: getting people to enjoy winter by offering quality trails, interesting programs and fun activities. With well-trained coaches and equipment available at a low cost, the youth programming is highly popular in the community. Each year, the youth programs, based on the long-term development of the athletes, fill up with participants. The club takes part yearly in many regional, provincial and national competitions and events. The Sureau Blanc club is a member of Cross Country New Brunswick, Cross-Country Canada and the International Ski Federation. The club is proud to support the development of this sport in Canada. 11 km recreational cross-country ski trails (classic and skate) 2 km competition trails (classic and skate) 4 km snowshoe trails Family activities (chocolate fondue, moonlight outing, candlelight outing, observation rally) Learn cross-country ski program (3 to 13-year-olds) Learn roller ski program (8-year-olds and up) Competition program (year-round) Adult cross-country ski clinics Adult roller ski clinics
