Florenceville-Bristol (Carleton North)

Who can say their ‘main street’ is essentially a river? Florenceville-Bristol can, a gem within the St. John River cultural experience. The French Fry Capital of the World is built upon emerging culinary experiences, agricultural heritage and the presence of McCain Foods’ world headquarters. McCain is also the namesake of one of the province’s most important art galleries, central to the town’s arts scene. Nature is the other half of the equation, as the River Valley Scenic Drive, the Trans-Canada Trail, and ‘half-secret’ rural roadways unveil vistas of river and agricultural landscapes.
