The village of Paquetville, birthplace of singer/songwriter, Édith Butler, is situated inland and is surrounded by the Caraquet and Pokemouche rivers, which are well known to sport-fishing enthusiasts. The stately Saint-Augustin church, atop Du Parc street, is one of the largest stone churches in the Maritimes. Paquetville is known for its restaurants, stores and maple products.
