Cap-Pelé (Cap-Acadie)

With tall sea grass swaying gently across long sandy beaches and the brightly painted fishing boats bobbing alongside the wooden wharves, Cap-Pelé paints a picture seaside postcard of a colourful Acadian village. Cap-Pelé is North America's largest exporter of smoked herring, producing some of the most scrumptious bloaters on the continent. If you don't believe it, step inside a smokehouse and taste for yourself! Of course, being this close to the sea, herring is not all that's on the menu. Savour the flavour of fresh, juicy scallops or steamed lobster.

Centreville (Carleton North)

Located on the Presque Isle Stream near the United States border, find many shops with unique treasures to discover. The village hosts the Annual Super-Power Tractor Pull, an event you are sure to enjoy.

Charlo (Heron Bay)

Chipman (Grand Lake)

Located on the banks of the Salmon River, at the head of Grand Lake, the largest freshwater lake in the Maritime Provinces, explore the peaceful rural beauty of Chipman. Lots of outdoor fun with fishing, boating, snowmobiling and camping. Visit Chipman by boating to our Marina; travel the Saint John River system to Grand Lake and Salmon River. On your way along Salmon River to Chipman Marina, watch for ospreys, Bald eagles and several species of ducks nesting along the river. Tie up at the Chipman Marina Wharf as your home base for jet skiing, waterskiing, sailing and windsurfing.

Pointe-du-Chêne Range (Front and Rear Ranges)

These original, wooden salt-shaker towers, which are still active, were built as a pair in 1895, and were designed to work as a team; one as a front range, the other a rear range. Located within the boundaries of Parlee Beach Provincial Park, they are also in a private cottage zone. These landmarks are somewhat famous, having appeared in countless of tourism brochures depicting the beauty of our province! Pointe-du-Chêne Yacht Club

Established in 1978, the Pointe-du-Chêne Yacht Club “PCYC” is located in Shediac, New Brunswick, on the western side of the Northumberland Strait and within walking distance of several restaurants, boutiques, and attractions such as the well-known Parlee Beach. Vessels are enclosed in a marina setting and we offer convenient, affordable berthing from May until October. The yacht club is operated by a manager and guided by an elected board of directors. Docking Features: Laundry, barbecue, electricity, water, showers, washrooms, snack bar. Dump station and fuel nearby.

Pointe-Sapin Beach

This quiet, unsupervised sandy beach is located along the Northumberland Strait. Experience the spectacular sunsets and watch the moon rise with the sound of the ocean waves in the background! Ideal for windsurfing. Grocery and convenience store on site with gas station, post office, NB Liquor outlet, ice and propane. Pointe-Sapin is a friendly Acadian fishing village where you’ll find everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Pointe-Sapin Lighthouse (Rear Range)

This 1903 salt-shaker style lighthouse has a yellow navigation light. It is located on the Acadian Coastal Drive, 8 km (5 mi.) north of Kouchibouguac National Park of Canada, located on a very small parcel of land adjacent to residential properties. For your enjoyment, there is a beach across the road. There is limited parking.This lighthouse is operational and an active aid to navigation. It has a square white pyramidal shaped wooden tower with a red-square lantern and a red-vertical stripe on the corner facing the alignment.

Ponderosa Pines Cottage

Private, leisurely accommodations in a natural setting surrounded by birch, pine and spruce trees overlooking a lake and the Bay of Fundy. The cottage is located only 1 km (0.6 mi.) from the Hopewell Rocks, and an easy drive from Fundy National Park, Village of Alma, Cape Enrage and the City of Moncton. Port Elgin Footbridge

Built in 1968, this footbridge is 46 m (151 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 2, Exit 513A-B, Route 16, Exit 25, Route 970, onto Shemogue Road.

Port Elgin Nature Trails

Nature enthusiasts take note: a network of over 70 km (43 mi.) of walking and hiking trails come together in this lovely heritage community. Set out near the village footbridge, travelling along the Gaspereaux River and the adjacent marsh. Follow the dirt and grass pathways, over elevated boardwalks, to the Fort Gaspereaux National Site. Raised observation areas along the way allow for a closer look at this sensitive wetland habitat. The Gaspereaux Heritage Trail complements the Trans-Canada Trail to tell the story of this region and its unique natural environment.

Prospect Inn

Welcome to Prospect Inn. We are located close to the beautiful Saint John River, 5 minutes from downtown Fredericton and 5 minutes from uptown shopping. All of our rooms have a refrigerator and microwave, free Wi-Fi and private bath. We have your choice of a room that you can drive up to, or a room with a balcony. Our property is well-landscaped with .8 hectare (2 acres) of green space to lounge and relax. The on-site restaurant is a family-run diner that offers great home-cooked meals.

Provincial Archives of New Brunswick

The Provincial Archives collects and preserves documents of the people, institutions and government of New Brunswick and makes these historical records available for public research. Holdings include textual and digital records, papers of families and individuals, maps, architectural plans, photos, sound recordings, film and video. Located on the University of New Brunswick campus, the Archives is housed in the Bonar Law-Bennett Building, of architectural interest for its Beaux Arts style and extensive use of bird's-eye maple.

Pump House Fill Station

The Pump House Fill Station, attached to the production and packaging brewery, was opened during the summer of 2017 with intentions to be a tap room and retail boutique. Open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. (10 a.m. on Saturdays) until midnight to serve you beer inside, on the patio, or to go—featuring all Pump House bottles, cans, kegs, growlers, and crowlers. Call ahead for possible brewery tours.

Quaco Head Lighthouse

Every lighthouse you see has a special attraction all its own and the Quaco Head Lighthouse is no exception. It stands on a scenic point with an excellent view of St. Martins' beach and the Fundy Trail coastline. This 1855 tower was replaced in 1966 and altered a decade later with a concrete structure. It's the perfect spot for a picnic and birdwatching. The Quaco Museum has several lighthouse artifacts, including the Fresnel lens from the old structure. Driving directions: Route 111 to St. Martins, West Quaco Road, turn left on Lighthouse Road.
