Fundy Trail Provincial Park

The Fundy Trail Provincial Park is a 2,559-hectare park featuring a 30-km (19-mi.) drive hugging the Bay of Fundy coast with stunning views in every direction. It's a fascinating ecosystem with access to Long Beach stretching for 2.5 km (1.5 mi.) along the bay, 3 discovery beaches, over 35 km (22 mi) of hiking and biking trails, over 20 lookouts with soul-inspiring views, a 15-metre waterfall, 60-metre suspension bridge, a canyon and 600 million-year-old rock formations.

Hillsborough (Fundy-Albert)

Home of the NB Railway Museum and the Honourable William Henry Steeves House Museum. Enjoy the wetlands park; walking trails and mountain biking trails. Stop and shop in the Artisan Village which features local crafters selling their wares - you can't miss the brightly coloured buildings by the Visitor Information Centre on Main Street.

Fundy Trail Provincial Park Interpretive Centre

The Interpretive Centre is built in the style of an 1800s logging bunkhouse in a lovely setting overlooking the Big Salmon River, where a community with a sawmill, inn, school, homes and churches once stood on the banks of the river. With the flourishing shipbuilding and lumber industry during the golden age of sail, a thriving lumber industry supported the building of over 500 ships in nearby St. Martins and area, once described as one of the richest region in Canada. Learn about this fascinating history and local stories.

McAdam (Wauklehegan) Lake Campground

Enjoy the cool breeze whisking through the pines and our breathtaking sunsets on Wauklehegan Lake. McAdam Campground on Wauklehegan Lake offers peaceful wilderness camping at its finest on the shore of a beautiful lake. All sites are nestled between large pines, some overlooking the lake. Serviced and un-serviced sites are available. Bring your fishing pole and camera – the fishing is great and the sunsets are spectacular!

Barachois Historical Church

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE The oldest wooden church in Acadia (opened in 1826), the Saint-Henri-de-Barachois church now houses a museum, an art gallery and an auditorium for performing arts as well as the International Collection of Hooked Cushions, religious objects and vestments.

Priceville Suspension Footbridge

The first bridge was built in 1938 and was 200 m (656 ft.) long. It incurred high-water damage in May 1939, and was rebuilt, higher, with a pier in the middle. This bridge was upgraded in 1961, and then replaced in 1988. Enjoy beautiful views on the Miramichi river from the footbridge and the picturesque countryside. The bridge can be crossed on foot, but there is a parking nearby. ATV and snowmobile trails are just a few steps away.

Cape Tormentine Beach Campground

Great view of Confederation Bridge on our oceanfront. Walking, biking, hiking on trails. Store on site. Ice cream stand inside store. July 1st activities and fireworks. Come swim in our warm waters. Approximately 1,000 metres (3,280 feet) of sandy beachfront. Boat slips at nearby wharf.
