Welcome to one of the most modern campgrounds Atlantic Canada has to offer. Camping Oceanic has over 358 sites (including large sites that can accommodate today's recreational vehicles), electrical outlets, Internet, paved roadways, full-time activity coordinator, outdoor shuffleboard courts, heated pool, large playground, automatic-control gate entrance and many more amenities. Located only 700 metres from the Parlee Beach Provincial Park entrance. Camping at Oceanic is an outdoor vacation adventure you will truly enjoy.

Poterie Monique Duclos Pottery

The passion and inspiration that arose in Monique Duclos from the first time she worked with clay can be seen within the walls of her charming studio.Functional and decorative stoneware pottery can be found in this lovely studio. You can watch, step-by-step, how her pottery is made. Monique has been commissioned by the Province of New Brunswick to create their official Collection with the provincial flower, the purple violet. Many other designs can be found in the little boutique in her studio.

Old Portage Island Lighthouse

The New Brunswick Aquarium and Marine Centre lighthouse was built in 1869 on Portage Island, at the entrance of the Miramichi River, exactly 6 km (4 mi.) from the coast of the village of Burnt Church. The New Brunswick Aquarium and Marine Centre acquired the lighthouse in 1986 and relocated it on the premises of the Marine Centre.

La Belle Cabane

Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick

Summerville-Millidgeville Ferry

Toll-free service operated from April to December by the provincial government on the Kennebecasis River between Sandy Point Road in Millidgeville, and Summerville, off Route 845 on the Kingston Peninsula.

Evandale Ferry

Toll-free service operated year-round by the provincial government between Evandale on Route 102 and Route 124. With pristine views of the Saint John River, this lovely cable ferry ride could be the best 5 minutes of your day. Looking to keep that feeling going? Have dinner or spend the night at the Evandale Resort, the last of the river boat hotels (open May-October).

Lamèque

Take a leisurely drive to this scenic Acadian island. Situated off the coast of northeastern New Brunswick, Lamèque separates the waters of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and Chaleur Bay. With the wealth of quiet, sandy beaches here, you'll have no shortage of options to find the perfect spot to soak up some sun! Fishing is the main industry, with more than than 40 species of fish, mollusks and crustaceans to be found in the waters.

Campbell Carriage Factory Museum

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE Originally built as a tannery then converted to a carriage factory in 1855 by the Campbell family and operated until 1949, the site was restored and converted to a museum in 1999. The factory is an outstanding example of 19th century manufacturing and the only existing original carriage factory in Canada. The site is dedicated to “The Horse Era of Tantramar.”

Lamèque Island

Kingston Historic District

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE At the John Fisher Memorial Museum and Archives, explore the way of life of the Loyalists settled in Kingston. Visit Trinity Church, built in 1789. Tour the historic 1810 Carter House and enjoy a light lunch at the tea room. Discover the Kingston Peninsula using the interactive map on the Web page. Hike the Moss Glen Nature and Cedars Light Trails. Museum tours available by appointment in the off season.

Doak House

The Doak Provincial Heritage Site commemorates Scottish entrepreneur Robert Doak and his family, who moved to the Upper Miramichi River area in the early 1820s. He established a carding mill, grist mill, sawmill and was involved in the affairs of his adopted community, which in 1854 was renamed "Doaktown" in his honour. Visit Doak House and note the architectural importance of its buildings and the richness of its original furniture preserved by several generations of the Doak Family.

Sainte-Anne-de-Beaumont Chapel

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE Situated on the bank of the Petitcodiac River, this small chapel served the Aboriginal and Acadian people of Beaumont Cape, beginning in 1842. Musical entertainment on Monday nights during July and August.

Year-round, toll-free service operated by the provincial government between Grand Bay-Westfield and Hardings Point on the Kingston Peninsula.

Kings Landing

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE Don’t just imagine what life was like 200 years ago, step back and live it! When you visit Kings Landing, your senses will come alive with all things 19th-century New Brunswick. From feeling the floorboards shake as a giant water-powered saw produces shipbuilding lumber at the Sawmill to catching a whiff of Mrs. Lint’s hearty soup simmering over the crackling fire, you’ll leave having memories from the 1800s — not just having heard tales!

Museum of the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph

A permanent exhibition attests to the presence of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph and their works in Saint-Basile from 1873. Artifacts were, at one time or another, used by the sisters' community at the hospital and in the classrooms. The museum is located in the Heritage room, under the chapel of the Hôtel-Dieu Saint-Joseph, which is a Provincial Historic Site now a seniors' residence and nursing home.

Beaverbrook House

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE Enter this beautiful and over-a-century-old Second-Empire-style mansion to marvel at the carefully restored architecture and learn about the life of William Maxwell Aitken, also known as Lord Beaverbrook. Discover interesting facts about his childhood home, such as how it served as the town's first public library. Take a stroll down memory lane and visit historic Miramichi to immerse yourself in a fascinating part of the province's colourful history.

No. 2 Engine House/Saint John Firefighters Museum

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACEThis neo-classical fire hall was built in 1840-41 for the city of Saint John to meet the increasing demands of a growing community. Attributed to the architect John Cunningham, it is a local landmark. A museum and exhibit hall tracing the history of firefighting in Saint John, including a special exhibit on the Great Fire of 1877.
