Perched on a ridge above Sackville, Beech Hill Park offers impressive views of the Tantramar Marshes. The park is a great place to fly a kite, toss a Frisbee or walk your pup. During the winter, enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on groomed and track-set trails. Southern Victoria Waterfront Adventure Centre

Southern Victoria's Waterfront Adventure Centre, home to various water activities hosted on the beautiful Saint John River, provides rentals of bicycles, canoes, kayaks (singles and doubles), motorized canoes, paddleboards, and pedal boats for everyone. The Centre is equipped with accessible washrooms on site as well as accessible walkways. PFDs and helmets are supplied with all rentals. Fundy Biosphere Reserve

The Fundy Biosphere Reserve (FBR) is an area of over 430,000 ha (1,062,553 acres) of the upper Bay of Fundy coast in New Brunswick, stretching from St. Martins to the Tantramar Marsh, near Sackville, and inland to Moncton. Designated as a World Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations Education, Scientific, and Culture Organization (UNESCO) in 2007, the Fundy Biosphere Reserve is a non-profit organization and receives no funding from UNESCO, or directly from any federal, provincial, or municipal government.

Chipman (Grand Lake)

Located on the banks of the Salmon River, at the head of Grand Lake, the largest freshwater lake in the Maritime Provinces, explore the peaceful rural beauty of Chipman. Lots of outdoor fun with fishing, boating, snowmobiling and camping. Visit Chipman by boating to our Marina; travel the Saint John River system to Grand Lake and Salmon River. On your way along Salmon River to Chipman Marina, watch for ospreys, Bald eagles and several species of ducks nesting along the river. Tie up at the Chipman Marina Wharf as your home base for jet skiing, waterskiing, sailing and windsurfing.

Cape Enrage Beach

The Cape Enrage Fossil Beach is more than 7 km (4 mi.) long. It traces its way along the base of the 46-m (150-ft.) cliffs of Barn Marsh Island. It runs from the sandy shores of Barn Marsh Beach, which is just off Cape Enrage road, around the lighthouse point, across the ocean floor and out to Brae Beach, an ancient Acadian dyke. You can spend hours walking this tidal beach, hunting for fossils in the rock shale of this rough terrain. Make sure to check the tide table before venturing too far, and plan to be off the beach two hours before high tide.

Hartland

The Saint John River has been the lifeline of this town since it was established in the early 1800s. Once an important trade route for French, English and Aboriginal traders, the river today is known for leisure pursuits including fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and pleasure boating. Along its banks are roads that follow the river to neighbouring towns, with spectacular views year round. The Upper St. John River Valley Trail (part of the Trans-Canada Trail) runs through town and is used by cyclists, hikers, ATVs and snowmobiles.

Saint-François (Haut-Madawaska)

Surrounded by lakes and trees, Saint-François is a charming little community bustling with local activity. Did you know that in Saint-François you can visit New Brunswick's only authentic blacksmith shop? After being in operation for 62 years, the Joseph B. Michaud Blacksmith Shop is now a museum where tools and equipment formerly used by the blacksmiths are on display. In the summer, outdoor enthusiasts take advantage of the rivers and lakes in the area.

Campobello Island Oceanfront Cottages

Campobello Oceanfront Cottages are located 2 km (1 mi.) south of beautiful East Quoddy Head Lighthouse, New Brunswick's most photographed lighthouse. All three cottages are secluded and private, nestled in the woods on a cliff overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay, where one can often see whales, porpoises, seals, osprey and eagles in front of the cottages. Each cottage has a deck for sunbathing and alfresco dining. The Sea Urchin has a screened-in tree house and its own private sandy beach where you can search for sea glass. The Whale of a View is slightly larger and has a breathtaking view.
