Christ Church Cathedral

NATIONAL HISTORIC SITEWith its spire rising almost 61 m (200 ft.) toward the sky, Christ Church Cathedral dominates the Fredericton skyline. This magnificent example of Gothic-revival architecture stands proudly overlooking the St. John River. This Anglican cathedral was built more than 150 years ago and was consecrated on August 11, 1853. It was the first new cathedral foundation on British soil since the Norman Conquest of 1066. Today you can take a guided tour of this magnificent cathedral and view the many art and architectural treasures within its historic walls.

Grand Manan Museum
