Maisonnette Park Beach

Unsupervised saltwater beach with washrooms, parking, food service, playground and picnic area. The beach consists of a sandbar, 2.4 km (1.5 mi.) long, extending halfway across the mouth of Caraquet Bay. The water is warm, shallow and sheltered from waves and wind on one side by a grassy dune.

Sussex Craft Distillery

Sussex Craft Distillery is committed to making small batch spirits using high quality local New Brunswick ingredients. Our signature product, Northern Comfort, is a Maple rum liqueur made with molasses from Crosby's Molasses in Saint John and Steeve's Maple Syrup in Elgin and the rum is aged with a blend of spices and roasted Sugar Maple hardwood, harvested from the Acadian Forest eco-region of Southern New Brunswick.

Waterside Beach

An outstanding saltwater beach for beachcombing, listening to the surf as the waves break on the shore, and wildlife viewing. Parking is limited alongside Route 915. Please park as close to the shoulder as possible.

Pinewood Escapes

Set on 23 wooded acres, Pinewood Escapes offers year-round lakeside rentals. Studios are perfect for two, while the cottage sleeps six, with private hot tubs, full kitchens, king beds and fire pits. Just outside St. Martins near ATV/snowmobile trails, Fundy Trail Park and Sea Caves. Guests enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, hiking and beaches in summer, and skating or snowshoeing in winter.

Grande-Anse Beach

Unsupervised saltwater beach sheltered between wave-sculpted rock formations. Change houses, washrooms, parking, food service and picnic area. Also has a children's play area, volleyball court and access ramp from the elevated parking area down to a sandy beach. Close to accommodation and the Village Historique Acadien.

Edmundston Campground

Family campground of approximately 60 beautiful and large sites that can accommodate RVs over 40 feet, offering both services, water and electricity of 20, 30 and 50 amps. Located 2 minutes from downtown in a quiet spot along Iroquois River, the campground has large green spaces with mature trees. A beautiful large sandy beach will also delight young and old. Pets welcome. Free wifi throughout the park.

Pine Needles Golf & Country Club

New Brunswick’s only 36-hole golf course, featuring two beautiful courses, the Pine and the River. Green fees available and tee times are required prior to 4 p.m. daily. Juniors are also welcome. Camping Cap-Lumière Beach

Barachois Historical Church

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE The oldest wooden church in Acadia (opened in 1826), the Saint-Henri-de-Barachois church now houses a museum, an art gallery and an auditorium for performing arts as well as the International Collection of Hooked Cushions, religious objects and vestments.

The Maison de la Culture cultural centre is a non-profit organization bringing together associations, organizations and individuals from the Pokemouche to Miscou region including Shippagan and Lamèque, actively working in the artistic and cultural fields.

Snow Bears Cross Country Ski Club

The Snow Bears Cross Country Ski Club is proud to provide top quality ski trails. 15 km (9 mi.) of freshly groomed trails are ready for either classic or freestyle techniques. Difficulty ranges from beginner to expert. 5.5-m (18-ft.) wide double-track trails with skate skiing in the middle lane. Ski trails are accessible from the Nepisiguit River Company, where washrooms and a changing room facility are available to trail users during opening hours. See you on the trails!

Letete - Deer Island Ferry

Deer Island, surrounded by the high tides of the Bay of Fundy and located at the mouth of Passamaquoddy Bay, sits about 4 km (3 mi.) from Letete, New Brunswick. Coastal Transport Limited provides daily, no charge ferry rides to Deer Island from Letete. During the summer, seasonal ferries connect Deer Island with New Brunswick's Campobello Island.

Quisibis River No. 2 Covered Bridge

Built in 1951, this covered bridge is 17 m (55 ft.) in length. The bridge is closed and no longer in use, but can be viewed from the road and from the new bridge crossing the same river beside it. Driving directions: Route 2, Exit 32, Davis Street North, turn right on Rivière-Quisibis Road 2.8 km (1.7 mi.), turn right on Lavoie Road 5.3 km (3.3 mi.), onto Deschênes Road.
