Struts Gallery and Faucet Media Arts Centre

Struts Gallery and Faucet Media Arts Centre is an artist-run centre featuring contemporary exhibits of local and national origin, as well as a diverse program of performances and other cultural events. The gallery's Artist-in-Residence program brings artists from across Canada to produce exhibits inspired by the culture and landscape of the region. All-ages concerts, multi-media workshops and opening events are held year round.

Sucrerie Chiasson

Sucrerie Chiasson offers a selection of maple products like maple butter, maple sugar, caramel and delicious first quality maple syrup. Its two locations (244 Des Érables St. and 1873 Bellechasse St.) can accommodate nearly 250 people for a popular brunch that satisfies all appetites – you can have as much syrup as you want at no extra charge. Call ahead or check their Facebook page to verify which location offers brunch. Try the "licherie", a decadent tasting of exquisite warm maple syrup and maple taffy on ice.

Sainte-Marie Sugar Bush

The Sugar Bush – La Causerie is nestled in the woods on a 51-ha (125-acre) property, surrounded by Maple trees. The trees are tapped annually in early spring, perfect for making the popular sweet and tasty maple syrup treats. Taffy-on-the-snow is offered weekends in our outdoor area, and a breakfast buffet is offered from March to early May. The sugar bush is a popular destination for 4-wheelers throughout the year and for snowmobile enthusiasts during the winter.

Sugarloaf Provincial Park Ski Hill

Visit Sugarloaf Provincial Park for your next skiing adventure! You will find 13 Alpine ski trails ranging from beginner to expert, one quadruple chairlift, 2 T-bars and one pony lift. The ski slope has a vertical drop of 155 m (507 ft.) with the longest run at 1,070 m (3,510 ft.). The hill also includes a terrain park with exciting features, great for all the freeride enthusiasts. A ski school with certified instructors for alpine skiing and snowboarding is open for your convenience, with safety provided by the Canadian Ski Patrol. Helmets are mandatory at Sugarloaf.

Located on the shore of Palfrey Lake just outside of McAdam. Drive-in access. Offers some of the best spring bear and smallmouth bass fishing opportunities.

Sureau Blanc Cross Country Ski Club

The Sureau Blanc Cross Country Ski Club started in 1980 in a small cabin in the woods. It now has a lodge with heat, power and kitchenette, 13 km (8 mi.) of cross-country ski trails, snowshoe trails, over 300 members and 20 certified coaches, including provincial coach Manon Losier. This very active and dynamic club is managed by a committee of volunteers. Their goal: getting people to enjoy winter by offering quality trails, interesting programs and fun activities. With well-trained coaches and equipment available at a low cost, the youth programming is highly popular in the community.

Jolly Breeze Tall Ship and Zodiac Whale Adventures

Spectacular Bay of Fundy Whale Watching. Choose between the Classic Jolly Breeze 72 foot Tall Ship or the thrill of a high-speed zodiac vessel. Successful encounters with whales exceed 95% in past years and report of stomach upset is extremely rare (1 in 3000). Whales, seals, porpoise, bald Eagles, and more! Tantramar Wetlands Centre

This award-winning facility offers the opportunity to experience wetlands by participating in innovative educational programs or exploring the site's 1.5 km (1 mi.) of trails. The centre was established in 1998 to promote wetland conservation through education. The 15-hectare (37-acre) site provides quality habitat for an amazing diversity of life and functions as an outdoor classroom for the local schools. The George Fry Gallery at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design

The Gallery at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design exhibits a diverse range of fine craft, design and visual art from faculty, students and invited artists, including college alumni and special guests. Featured works include major studio disciplines, aboriginal visual arts, ceramics, drawing, fashion design, fibre arts, graphic design, integrated media, jewellery, metal arts and textiles.

The Old Bank Museum

This beautiful structure, formerly a branch of the Bank of New Brunswick, later of the Bank of Nova Scotia, served this area for nearly a century, and in 1984, was the site of New Brunswick's largest bank robbery. It now houses a museum and visitor information centre. In 1985, it was saved from demolition and moved to its present site.No entrance fee is charged, but donations are welcome to assist with operating costs.

The Playhouse

Located in beautiful downtown Fredericton and adjacent to the new Brunswick Provincial Legislature, the Fredericton Playhouse has been providing a professional venue for the performing arts for decades. The Playhouse was a gift from Lord and Lady Beaverbrook to the people of New Brunswick in 1964. The only performing arts facility of its kind in the province at that time, it served primarily as a road house for touring artists. Today, the Fredericton Playhouse operates as a professional performance venue available for local, national, and international artists and companies.

Thomas Williams House

Step back in time at the Victorian Thomas Williams House! Tour the home of this prominent Monctonian, who was the treasurer for the Intercolonial Railway. Built in 1883, this heritage home stands as an elegant symbol of local life during the Victorian era. Today, the Thomas Williams House is a designated municipal heritage site. Open during the summer months, it features special events and a tearoom where tea and light snacks are served.

University of New Brunswick Art Centre (UNB Art Centre)

Located on the campus of the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, the UNB Art Centre, founded in 1941 by Pegi Nicol MacLeod and Lucy Jarvis, offers dynamic art exhibitions, workshops, and events for all ages. Upriver Country Market

The Upriver Country Market was created as a community gathering place for access to buying locally produced goods and enjoy live weekly musical entertainment. We are open every Saturday of the summer from 9-12 p.m. in a converted horse barn in Bass River. W. S. Loggie Cultural Museum

An 18th-century Victorian home houses artifacts from 1850 onward. The famous painting by H. W. Hoyt “Portrait of Francis Peabody," founder of the town of Chatham, a history of the Loggie family and First World War artifacts are found here. The original World War I Victory Flag may be of particular interest.The house is used for meetings, craft sales, teas and many social events. This unique home is a special part of the heritage and culture of the region. Guided tours are available during the summer or by appointment by board members in off-season.

An active and welcoming cross-country skiing community offering lessons for children and adults, weekend group ski outings, race competitions and access to many kilometres of groomed trails in the UNB Forest, Kingswood Park and Killarney Park in Fredericton.
