Grand Manan Visitor Information Center

Grand Manan's Visitor Information Center is centrally located and here to help any visitors while they are touring the island. Its welcoming staff has plenty of information on activities, events, things to do, places to eat and more. Come by and have a complimentary taste of dulse or salt water taffy while you retrieve your day plan! The building is wheelchair-accessible and has public washrooms.

Mountain Bike Minto Trails

A mountain bike trail system unlike any other. What was once a bustling mining community, Minto is now home to some of the best cross-country mountain biking trails in the Maritimes. Sculpted by massive earth movers during its coal mining days, this surreal landscape offers 50 kilometres of the fastest and flowiest trails around. You'll hear riders of all levels whooping out loud through the woods as they fly by beautiful turquoise ponds riding on ridges shaped by 400 years of coal mining history.

Loomcrofters Studio

The Loomcrofters Studio building is one of the oldest buildings in New Brunswick, dating to about 1789. Visit Loomcrofters Studio, operated by Queens County Heritage, to hear the story of the New Brunswick Tartan and many others; try your hand at weaving on one of the antique looms; and discover one of the oldest buildings still standing in New Brunswick.

OG Ales Microbrewery

OG Ales is one of New Brunswick’s first microbreweries, crafting premium ales off-grid using solar energy since 2016. We specialize in crafting traditional English ales and we do it off-grid. Our brewing team continues to brew our everyday favourite ales, as well as innovate and introduce new OG styles and seasonal Porters. Today, the collection includes signature IPAs, the award winning, world-class Red Ale and our premium Pale Ale.

Oromocto Trails

Enjoy year-round fun on our three trail systems here in Oromocto! Families can experience a leisurely walk at our Deer Park trails, Gateway trails with their lovely bridges and along the Trans-Canada Trail. The River Valley Cycling Club maintains the Deer Park trails in the winter which are great for fatbiking.

Oromocto Waterfront

The Oromocto Waterfront is a beautiful location for gatherings, long walks along the river or picnics. This area includes the Oromocto Marina, the Sir Douglas Hazen Park green, Fort Hughes Military Blockhouse, Second Nature Outdoors small crafts aquatic centre, and the Hazen Park Centre.
