A dynamic centre of creation, hosting, and staging of professional theatre, Théâtre populaire d'Acadie has offered a wide variety of programs for over 40 years. Although it focusses mainly on the creation of original Acadian works, this theatre group also offers contemporary and classical repertoire. Sussex Craft Distillery

Sussex Craft Distillery is committed to making small batch spirits using high quality local New Brunswick ingredients. Our signature product, Northern Comfort, is a Maple rum liqueur made with molasses from Crosby's Molasses in Saint John and Steeve's Maple Syrup in Elgin and the rum is aged with a blend of spices and roasted Sugar Maple hardwood, harvested from the Acadian Forest eco-region of Southern New Brunswick.

Queens County Court House Museum

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE From First Nations to the present, Queens County is a microcosm of the provincial and national experience - First Nations, Acadians, Loyalists, European migration, Confederation, Great Depression and the World Wars – we were there. Of surviving early court houses in New Brunswick, the Queens County Court House is one of the oldest, dating from 1836.

Camping Municipal Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël

Camping on the edge of the saltwater beach, accessible by a boardwalk. One of the places where you can admire the most beautiful sunsets on the Acadian Peninsula. The campground is located next to the wharf, where lobster fisherman dock. Playground for children, gazebo with picnic tables, washroom facilities (restrooms and showers). The village of Doaktown's Municipal Office is located in the heart of the Miramichi, along the Miramichi River. Memramcook Visitor Information Centre

Located in the beautiful Memramcook Valley, the Memramcook Visitor Information Centre is in the same building as the Monument Lefebvre National Historic Site, which houses an exhibit on the Acadian renaissance. To enhance your travel experience, the VIC staff will be happy to answer questions and provide counselling and information about the region's events and attractions. Captains Lookout Cottages

Six rustic pine cottages high on a hilltop overlooking the Bay of Fundy. Adorable one- and two-bedroom cabins with cathedral ceilings and all the comforts of home. Enjoy panoramic views of the bay, beautiful sunrises from your own deck and peaceful, quiet beaches. Kilometres (miles) of coastline are just a 10-minute walk from the cottages, and a mixed freshwater/saltwater lake is a short hike from the backyard. Captain's Lookout Cottages are close to Fundy National Park, the village of Alma, Cape Enrage and The Hopewell Rocks.

Bouctouche Trails

Trails are a great way to explore Bouctouche's rich and diverse coastal environment and lively Acadian community. A 10-km (6-mi.) hiking, cycling and walking trail connects the great sand dune of Irving Eco-Centre, La Dune de Bouctouche and the enchanting entertainment of Le Pays de la Sagouine. Part of the Sentier NB Trail system, the trail is managed by the town of Bouctouche and Sentier NB Trail.The Inner Bay trail is a beautiful 4-km (2.5-mi.) trail that takes you through a wooded area, across a footbridge and winds through the town of Bouctouche.

Johnson’s Mills Shorebird Reserve and Interpretive Centre

Johnson's Mills is a critical feeding and resting site for the shorebirds that fly through the Bay of Fundy on their fall migration. Approximately half of the world's population of semipalmated sandpipers feed on the mudflats during peak migration (mid August). The best time to see the birds is two hours before, to two hours after high tide. Managed by the Nature Conservancy of Canada, the Johnson's Mills Shorebird Interpretive Centre is located 8 km (5 mi.) from the Village of Dorchester.

Aroostook (Southern Victoria)

The Village of Aroostook was once an important railway centre for the transportation of wood and potatoes. The old railway station, located where the Aroostook Valley and New Brunswick railroads cross, still stands strong and is recognized as 1 of the region’s important historical sites. The International Appalachian Trail, a route cherished by backpacking enthusiasts, also crosses into Aroostook territory. The trail links the 3 highest peaks of the Appalachian Mountain chain: Mont Jacques-Cartier in Quebec, Mount Carleton in New Brunswick and Mount Katahdin in the state of Maine.
