The centre also offers a souvenir shop, picnic tables, a playground and a dog park nearby.

It is the site of the first English Settlement along the Miramichi River, with an interpretive centre housed in the replica of the 1790 church, a trading post, a historic 240-year-old graveyard, and walking trails. It is now cared for by the Miramichi Scottish Heritage Association. Visitors are welcome to tour the buildings and enjoy the beautiful grounds.
