Cape Enrage

The Bay of Fundy is one of the Marine Wonders of the World with tides rising as much as 16.3 m (53 vertical feet) over a 12-hour period twice each day. Cape Enrage offers one of the most spectacular views of the natural phenomenon from its towering cliffs and has been a light station and fog alarm since 1838. Hampton Marsh

This is one of the largest and most diverse areas of the St. John River flood plain. Located within a maze of oxbows, tributaries and backwaters of the Kennebecasis River, it is a haven for migrating and breeding waterfowl, other marsh birds, songbirds and birds of prey. In addition to being a prime location for birding, the marsh also offers excellent opportunity for photography, recreational boating, canoeing and kayaking. The Dutch Point Park Trail System along with the Trans Canada Trail system provide lookout sites and interpretation areas.

Pagan Point Nature Preserve

The Pagan Point Nature Preserve is a 12 ha (30 acre) piece of land found within the Town of Saint Andrews on Passamaquoddy Bay. It has been designated a provincial archaeological site, as the preserve contains one of the largest, deepest, and least disturbed ‘shell middens' in New Brunswick.

Sussex Nature Walkway

A self-guided, 5-km (3-mi.) walking trail that runs along Trout Creek, through wooded areas and by three Ducks Unlimited ponds and the Sussex Bark Park. A great opportunity to get close to nature.

Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve

Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve is located in the city of Saint John, on the border with the neighbouring town of Grand Bay-Westfield. Conserved by the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, this nature preserve is one of the last undeveloped properties in the area and supports a variety of ecosystems. Blueberry Hill Nature Preserve features 2 km (1.2 mi) of looping trail systems for visitors to explore. The trail leads you across Henderson Brook on a walking bridge where you can stop and take in views of the wetland. There are two trails: Stevens Loop Trail and Hamm Loop Trail.

Our service is the link that makes the loop complete. "The Old Sow," the largest tidal whirlpool in North America, can be seen from Deer Island Point Park, near our ferry landing. After Labour Day our schedule depends on weather and traffic volume. You might want to call ahead if travelling during this period.
