Trueman Blueberry Farms

Trueman Farms have outdoor activities for the entire family to enjoy. Farmstand retail store with baked goods, raspberry and blueberry u-picks perfect for pies, jams, or healthy snacking, sunflower and corn mazes in the late summer and wagon rides to the pumpkin patch in the fall. Hand-crafted small batch ice cream served in freshly baked waffle cones made right on site, with each flavour featuring ingredients right from our farm.

Miscou Island

Windswept Natural Sanctuary The road less travelled leads here... to shores of untouched, unspoiled and uncommon beauty. This coastal island is home to spectacular beaches, fascinating trails and vast peat bogs that turns scarlet red in the fall. From the Municipal Visitor Information Centre at the entrance of Miscou (9742, Route 113) to the historic lighthouse facing the ocean at the very tip of the island, you will experience the peaceful remoteness of a place like no other.

York Centennial Park Sailboat Marina

Twenty docks. Twenty-seven moorings, fenced compound storage, lockers, water, boat-launching ramp, electricity, washrooms (no showers), river map. No VHF channel. No dumping station.

Miramichi Bay Outfitters

Miramichi Bay Outfitters offers guided fishing tours on the Miramichi River. We offer full or half day tours with all the latest in fishing and electronic equipment available. Spring season is from April 15 until the end of May and fall is mid-September until October 31 . Sit back, relax and enjoy the famous Miramichi River. We can’t wait to have you aboard!

Dalhousie (Heron Bay)

In Dalhousie, rolling hills, rivers, lakes and streams provide a scenic backdrop for New Brunswick’s most northern community. This is the perfect place to unwind, with a beach, campground, playgrounds, and a leisure centre featuring an indoor pool. There are also tennis courts, soccer fields, ball fields and walking trails. Ritchie Wharf Park

‘Shipbuilding' is the theme of this charming public park. While this very waterfront was once a thriving shipbuilding industry, today it is a place where your children can have fun in the nautically themed playground. They'll love to play and get wet on the splash pad, then sit down for a scoop (or 3) of ice cream! You'll appreciate the boardwalk's shops, artists' gallery and restaurants. You can dock or launch your boat from Ritchie Wharf Park, or embark on an exciting boat tour or charter. Enjoy live entertainment most evenings and Sunday afternoons.

Charlo Salmonid Enhancement Centre

The Charlo Hatchery (CSEC) was built in 1938 and has been stocking New Brunswick rivers for over 70 years with Atlantic salmon and Brook trout. The hatching survival of salmon in the wild can be as low as 10%, however in a hatchery it is seldom less than 85%. Since 1998, 4,419,799 salmon and trout raised to various stages of development at the CSEC were stocked in the rivers of New Brunswick. The centre also undertakes projects, pilot studies and research which has touched all aspects of the fishery.

Cocagne Lighthouse (Front Range)

This 1907, original wooden salt-shaker tower is located by the Cocagne Marina. Although the lighthouse is not active and the interior is not open to the public, this is a great place to stop for a picnic by the water, as tables and a playground are provided on site.

Irishtown Nature Park

Irishtown Nature Park offers kilometres of maintained trails. Interpretive signage showcasing the park as the city's first water supply is installed along a multi-use trail accessible for walkers, joggers, wheelchairs and cycling. Trails are groomed for walking in the winter. The park's trails are also excellent for bird watching. A feeding station maintained year-round attracts many species: chickadees, nuthatches, yellow finches, purple finches, hairy and downy woodpeckers, and doves.

Acadian Historical Village

Dixon Point Lighthouse (Front Range)

This is one of the many fine lighthouses that dot the coastline and inland waterways of New Brunswick. The Dixon Point Lighthouse was built originally in 1881. It was replaced in 1919 with an attractive salt-shaker-style design. The front range is still active. This lighthouse stands on a very small footprint of land with a good view of the Bouctouche Dune Lighthouse, which is practically inaccessible, at the end of the Bouctouche Dune sandbar.
