South Oromocto River No. 2 Covered Bridge (Mill Settlement)

Built in 1912, this covered bridge is 42 m (136 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 2, Exit 306, Route 7 South 8.5 km (5.2 mi.), Exit 29, Broad Road 1 km (0.6 mi.), turn left on Branch Road 16.2 km (10 mi.), Route 101 South 5.4 km (3.3 mi.), turn right on Mill Settlement Road 2.5 km (1.5 mi.), onto West Mill Settlement Road 200 m (218 yd.), at Mill Settlement West, near Hoyt.

Southern Victoria Historical Museum

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACEThe former St. James United Church, the oldest surviving building in the community of Perth-Andover, is designated as a Provincial Heritage Place for its architecture and its social and cultural value in relation to this part of Victoria County. Now a museum, it houses a collection of tools, farm equipment, dishes, clothing, maps, photographs and other artifacts from the local area.

Southwest Head Lighthouse

Whales, porpoises, seabirds, spectacular sunsets, hiking trails – these and more can be seen daily from towering rock cliffs guarded by Grand Manan's Southwest Head Lighthouse. Originally built in 1880, this active lighthouse was replaced with a concrete structure in 1989. You can access dramatic hiking trails from this area, but please be careful. The cliff area is dangerous and requires caution. This is a definite ''must-see'' on Grand Manan Island!

St. James Textile Museum

PROVINCIAL HERITAGE PLACE This former church built in 1884, features an insightful look into the making of textiles in the late 1800s and is home to turn-of-the-century blacksmith and carpentry tools, unique hand tools and a selection of items once used for daily domestic chores. The textile exhibits cover the complete processes of making linen from flax and blankets from wool. You can even try carding, spinning, and weaving on the antique looms while you are here.
