With a saltwater marsh known as a migratory bird staging, feeding, and resting area, it offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Fundy, which can be accessed by a public cobblestone beach. Lavoie Maple Sugar House

Established five generations ago, this 50-acre family-operated maple grove is located 400 metres above sea level in the Appalachian Mountains in north-western New Brunswick. Mac's Beach

At the eastern end of this picturesque village is the beautiful Mac’s Beach, an unsupervised beach with food services available. At low tide you can explore the famous St. Martins sea caves, visual evidence of the tremendous power of the Fundy tides. Carved into the rugged, red sand cliffs, you’ll have about two hours to wander through them on either side of low tide.

Woolastook Park Beach

Three unsupervised freshwater swimming beaches. Nine-hole pitch-and-putt golf course and 35 km (22 mi.) of walking and biking trails. Free bike, canoe, kayaks and paddle boats rentals; fishing pond, two volley-ball courts, two horse-shoe pits, library, exercise building, mini-putt and playground. Kennebecasis Island Ferry

Toll-free service operated from May to November by the provincial government between Kennebecasis Island and Summerville, off Route 845 on the Kingston Peninsula. Be prepared to take in the view of the McColgan Point Lighthouse (built in 1913). For 24-hour information about ferry service interruption notices, call 511 (in New Brunswick) or 1-800-561-4063 (out of province).

Richiboucto Head Lighthouse

This attractive 1864 lighthouse has an original wooden salt-shaker tower with alterations done in 1988. This active lighthouse is located on an elevated bluff overlooking the Northumberland Strait. There is a working wharf within view of the lighthouse, it's adjacent to cottages and a campground and Cap-Lumière Beach is nearby. This is a good seaside picnic location. Driving directions: Routes 11 and 134, then Route 505 to Cap-Lumière Road.

Algonquin Golf Course

Situated along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean's Passamaquoddy Bay the 18 hole, 7,100 yard, par 72 Algonquin Golf Course has been redesigned by Canadian golf architect Rod Whitman. Whitman's redesign has accentuated the natural beauty of the Bay of Fundy, resculpting the course to optimize the golf experience and ocean views.
