Tidal Bore

Caused by the Bay of Fundy tides, the Tidal Bore occurs twice daily. Watch the water in the Petitcodiac River roll back upstream in one wave that can go up to 60 cm in height! Estimated Tidal Bore times online and at the Visitor Information Centre beside Bore Park, downtown Moncton. Please note: Many factors may affect the time of the Bore by 15 to 20 minutes before or after the scheduled arrival time. Arrive early!

Point Wolfe Covered Bridge

Built in 1992, this covered bridge is 29 m (94 ft.) in length. Driving directions: Route 1, Exit 211, Route 114 South for 41.5 km (25.7 mi.), onto Point Wolfe Road in Fundy National Park.

Cape Enrage Beach

The Cape Enrage Fossil Beach is more than 7 km (4 mi.) long. It traces its way along the base of the 46-m (150-ft.) cliffs of Barn Marsh Island. It runs from the sandy shores of Barn Marsh Beach, which is just off Cape Enrage road, around the lighthouse point, across the ocean floor and out to Brae Beach, an ancient Acadian dyke. You can spend hours walking this tidal beach, hunting for fossils in the rock shale of this rough terrain. Make sure to check the tide table before venturing too far, and plan to be off the beach two hours before high tide.

Tuddenham Farms

Tuddenham Farms is a family-operated, wild-blueberry farm and blueberry-wine producer located in Charlotte County. With fields throughout Charlotte County, the Tuddenhams offer the highest quality fresh, hand-cleaned and graded fresh and frozen blueberries. A variety of blueberry products are also available, including wine, jam, juice, syrup and freshly baked and frozen home-style blueberry pies. Tuddenham's blueberries and blueberry products are available for sale from late June through late October at their roadside farm-fresh produce stand and wine retail outlet in Oak Bay.

Saint John Beaches

Saint John boasts several public beaches. The most popular include Rockwood Park, which has two supervised sandy freshwater beaches, playground and hiking trails. Little River Reservoir offers a supervised freshwater beach, playground and hiking trails. Connors Bros. Nature Preserve at Pea Point

Located in the picturesque fishing village of Blacks Harbour near the Grand Manan Island ferry, Connors Bros. Nature Preserve at Pea Point is a beautiful example of the diversity and ecological significance linked to the world-famous Bay of Fundy tides. Explore the natural and geological features found in the preserve and along the 2 km (1.2 mi) stretch of coastline. Feel free to cross to the Pea Point Lighthouse (first lit in 1878) on Pea Island during low tide, but keep your eye on the tides to avoid getting stuck!

Dobson Trail (Riverview to Alma)

The Dobson Trail is a footpath that starts on Pine Glen Road in the town of Riverview and continues through the Albert County Caledonia Highlands to the eastern boundary of Fundy National Park. The first 2 km (1.25 mi.) of the trail bed are maintained to Park standards and are wheelchair accessible. The initial section also has a guide wire for the visually challenged. The remaining section is maintained to Appalachian Trail Standards. The trail can be hiked in 3 days and is used in all seasons by hikers, snowshoers and backcountry skiers.

Anchorage Beach is an unsupervised, sandy, saltwater beach where you can relax with the Bay of Fundy nipping at your toes. Do some beachcombing, see wildlife and check the nearby freshwater ponds – a great spot to cast your line for trout. Canoe or kayak as well.Castalia Park Beach is gravel and salt marsh.

Herring Cove Provincial Park Golf Course

Tee up and swing away at Herring Cove Provincial Park's 9-hole golf course, overlooking the Bay of Fundy and Lake Glensevern. The course, designed by renowned golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish, is complete with a licensed restaurant, golf carts, showers, lockers, pro shop, putting green, and club rentals.

Wolastoq Park

Wolastoq means "the beautiful river," in the language of the Maliseet (Wolastoqiyik) people who lived beside the Saint John River. Overlooking the river, the park boasts one of the best views of the Reversing Rapids, the inner harbour and the city skyline. It features statues of some of the historical figures that have helped shape the region's history.
