Island Cruises Whale-watching

Join Captains Mac and Rob of the Campobello Whale Rescue Team for an exciting 2½-hour whale-watching tour on the Bay of Fundy. Our tour departs from Head Habour Wharf on beautiful Campobello Island, only minutes from Head Harbour Light Station and the home of the whales. Our gift shop and ticket office are located at 2295 Route 774, Wilsons Beach. As we search the coastal waters for whales, seals, Bald eagles and seabirds, we will also see fishing boats, herring weirs, aquaculture sites and some of the most beautiful coastal scenery found anywhere. Lobster Tours - Come join the excitement, as we 'haul lines' and find the marine life that inhabits the North Atlantic Ocean. Learn about the life of lobsters and the lobster fishing industry firsthand from experienced local captains and fishermen. After our boat tour, fresh lobster is available for purchase. Our 11-m (37-ft.) vessel “Mister Matthew,” a traditionally designed Cape Island fishing-style vessel, is Transport-Canada approved for 20 passengers, with bathroom facilities on board. Captain Mac is a Level 5 whale disentangler, certified in both the U.S. and Canadian waters and was awarded the “Animal Action Award” in 2004 from the International Fund for Animal Welfare for his work with the Campobello Whale Rescue Team. He was also an instructor for the New Brunswick Community College in St. Andrews, teaching Marine safety and navigation in the off-season.
