Naturally AttractiveIt was an amazing thing when they first discovered this place, where cars appear to roll uphill. Back in the 1920s, the woman who used to live in this lovely old home was instrumental in making Magnetic Hill famous. Muriel Lutes Sikorski had good business sense. In the 1930s, she ran a tourist home here and sold ice cream from a little shanty at the end of the driveway, creating a million-dollar business.

Miramichi Art Core Gallery

Miramichi Art Core Gallery is located at W.S. Loggie Cultural Centre on Wellington Street in Miramichi. Operated by the Miramichi Art Core, the gallery features the work of over 20 members. View original paintings, photography, wood burning, and driftwood creations. If you are looking to purchase fine art or simply have an interest in the visual arts, visit Miramichi Art Core Gallery. The Loggie House is an historical home open daily during the summer season.

Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club

The Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club provides groomed trails for cross-country skiing (classic and skate) and snowshoeing, including 4 km (2.5 mi.) of lighted trails. There is a staffed clubhouse with equipment rentals (free rentals - covered by a donation to the club) for all ages, washrooms and a small canteen. A waxing form is available for use. Buy a club membership or a daily trail pass and enjoy the outdoors.

Miramichi Freestyle Park

A supervised, all-wheel sport facility. Open to BMX, skateboards, scooters and in-line skates. Park includes: 30 ramps, 3 m (9 ft.) half-pipe, 1 m (4 ft.) x 2 m (6 ft.) half-pipe and special features.

Miramichi History Museum

Originally founded in 1897 the museum houses an extensive collection of natural and cultural history artifacts and is one of the most unique museums in New Brunswick. The museum is also center for genealogy and historical research for Miramichi ( includes shipbuilding history).

Miramichi Salmon Conservation Centre

Discover the different life stages of the Atlantic salmon and learn about the biology of the species at Canada’s oldest fish hatchery, which grows Atlantic salmon for enhancement. Public Tours of the Fish Hatchery in July and August (book ahead).

Mont Farlagne Outdoor Centre

Mont Farlagne is a four-season outdoor recreation facility located minutes of downtown Edmundston and plenty of lodging. In the winter: alpine skiing and snowboarding with 22 runs, snow park, lift-serviced snow tubing, snowshoeing, and fat bike. In the summer, spring and fall: mountain biking and other outdoor recreational events/activities. Equipment rental and pro shop on site. The centre can also host social/special events on demand.

Pioneer Village of Grande-Digue

This pioneers museum is a 6-building miniature village including a house from 1842, a replica of a chapel, a school (1870) featuring original benches and blackboards, a barn, a shed and a lighthouse. A 1835 church is located nearby. The museum features over 3,000 artifacts, including a mural painting of the Grande-Digue marsh in the 1800s. Wide open space, large parking lot, rest area, picnic tables, tourist bureau, WiFi and souvenir shops on site. Wheelchair accessible.

Myers Church

Lovely historical church built in 1889, facing the sea, the Myers United Church is home to the Myers Community Centre. The Hardwicke Community Group at Myers develops and coordinates community activities at the Myers Community Centre, including showing the "Still Fishing - Beyond the Escuminac Disaster" documentary and a yearly memorial service for the Escuminac Disaster.

New Brunswick Railway Museum

Come to Hillsborough and visit the New Brunswick Railway Museum, featuring the largest display of unique railway equipment in the province. This includes former Canadian National Railways #1009 and former Canadian National Railways diesel locomotives, as well as a replica of the ‘1881 Hillsboro’ railway station complete with a typical railway section house.

Everyone is welcome to come and snowshoe with their family in the sugar bush during the winter months. There is a place inside and outside to build a fire and warm up. During the sugaring season, people are invited to visit while we boil the sap harvested.
