Edmundston Visitor Information Centre

Located in an old CP railway station built in 1930, the building was completely renovated in 2005. The centre is located next to a cycling trail connecting the city of Edmundston, New Brunswick, to Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec and near the popular pedestrian bridge that crosses the Madawaska River, leading to the downtown area. The centre also offers a souvenir shop, picnic tables, a playground and a dog park nearby.

University of New Brunswick Art Centre (UNB Art Centre)

Nepisiguit Centennial Museum/Cultural Centre

In 2003 the Bathurst Heritage Trust Commission Inc. acquired the Nepisiguit Centennial Library building and immediately created the Nepisiguit Centennial Museum/Cultural Centre, which houses the Heritage Museum, the Nepisiguit Genealogy/Archives. The artifacts, including photos, archives, genealogical documents, and histories of the native Aboriginal culture, represent the general life of the people of the region in the early days. There is no precise theme running through the museum, but the past comes alive for both local and other visitors.

The Saint John Arts Centre is a community arts facility dedicated to promoting arts and culture through touring and local exhibitions of fine arts and crafts. The centre hosts live performances, lectures, workshops and cultural events. The centre has 5 galleries, which change exhibits every 6 to 8 weeks. A mini-theatre, workshop rooms, pottery and printmaking studios, and meeting rooms are also on site. It is housed in the historic Carnegie building in Saint John.

During the golden age of sail, the thriving shipbuilding and lumber industry led to the construction of over 500 ships in nearby St. Martins and surrounding areas — once described as one of the richest regions in Canada. Learn about this fascinating history and local stories through interpretive panels.

Boultenhouse Heritage Centre

New Brunswick boasts a strong shipbuilding tradition. Visitors to Sackville can explore this aspect of the province's industrial past at Boultenhouse Heritage Centre, named after the town's most prolific shipwright, Christopher Boultenhouse. The centre consists of three buildings — a Georgian style house built by the Bulmer family circa 1790, a house built in the Greek revival style in 1840 by Boultenhouse, and the Anderson Octagonal House circa 1855.

The Canada Games Aquatic Centre is an aquatics and fitness facility, located in the heart of Uptown Saint John. This facility was built to host the 1985 Canada Summer Games. The Aquatic Centre, through its supporting communities of Grand Bay-Westfield, Quispamsis, Rothesay, and Saint John contributes to the health and well-being of the citizens of these four communities and the people of New Brunswick. Services within the facility include lap swimming, swimming lessons, fitness classes, fitness centre with equipment, functional training areas, and more.

This is a place to see... to learn... to explore. It's the perfect spot for birdwatching, as well as a wonderful place to learn more about wetlands and conservation. At the centre, nestled on the north bank of the Saint John River, you can stand on the deck and marvel as you spot osprey, waterfowl, and even a Bald Eagle or two! You can also enjoy the lovely view of the city of Fredericton, directly across the river. Friendly staff, with the help of hands-on exhibits, will answer your questions. Built with donations of material and time, this centre is a true community venture.

Southern Victoria Waterfront Adventure Centre

Southern Victoria's Waterfront Adventure Centre, home to various water activities hosted on the beautiful Saint John River, provides rentals of bicycles, canoes, kayaks (singles and doubles), motorized canoes, paddleboards, and pedal boats for everyone. The Centre is equipped with accessible washrooms on site as well as accessible walkways. PFDs and helmets are supplied with all rentals. Mont Farlagne is a four-season outdoor recreation facility located minutes of downtown Edmundston and plenty of lodging. In the winter: alpine skiing and snowboarding with 22 runs, snow park, lift-serviced snow tubing, snowshoeing, and fat bike. In the summer, spring and fall: mountain biking and other outdoor recreational events/activities. Equipment rental and pro shop on site. The centre can also host social/special events on demand.

The Centre’s architectural features are inspired by the famous fishing camps found along the Restigouche River. Walk inside to find aquariums and exhibits depicting the history of the Restigouche River, the fish found along the river and the people who live here.
